Hey i started few days ago. I just want ask about markings. I have no idea which marks are special, all I see is merle pups sell the most so I'm thinking it's the most valuable mark atm?

@ 10392: Hunting synergy is raised by sending your wolves on hunts. Low stat wolves that don't have high party synergy will often fail, but they'll do better as you send them on more hunts. However, personalities can clash and cause wolves to fail hunts more often. The personalities that clash are Stoic & Romantic, Friendly & Aggressive. You can check which personality type your wolf's personality belongs to Here

@11145: Merles are currently quite popular, yes! They can only be gotten through Random Marking Applicators in the Grove or by breeding a wolf with one or more merle markings. Other RMA-exclusive marks include Inuit Unders (not very popular) and Tamaskan Unders (brand new! I haven't seen it around much so I'm not sure the popularity.) Combo color markings are also pretty popular. A guide to those is Here

Thanks for the help! And one last question. Is there specific places that you have to go to to find healing salves? Other than the salves you can buy from other players, i'm not sure how to get more of them.

Yes! When you unlock the Herbalist, you'll be able to craft them for 1 charcoal and 1 dandelion. Crafting takes 2 hours. You can also find them through some explore encounters, like clicking "Inspect" when you find the small pool of water with the light inside (in all biomes) or by clicking "Reveal it!" when you find the northern goshawk in the Coniferous Forest. You can also sometimes gain them by winning battles.

Okay, how do you unlock the herbalist?

The Herbalist quest will be unlocked automatically on your 4th rollover. It will appear in questing where all of the other quests are

Hello! I was wondering if you could give me some advice for breeding? I'm still confused about it, and how studding, nesting, (everything really), etc works. I think I might have just gone too fast through the quest for that one. Thanks for any help!

Hey there. Check out This Guide to learn about breeding. Some info directly related to your post:

- Studs are the breeding wolves of other players. Since they are not your own, you will need to pay a stud fee. When you send a request, the request will remain up until either you or the other player cancels it, or until your female is pregnant. Breeding takes 2% energy from each wolf per try.

- You cannot breed to a wolf that is not a breeding male, whether it belongs to you or someone else. It will cost 25 GC to remove a breeding male early, and 20 more GC to set a new one before the cooldown is up. You will have to pay an additional fee if you're replacing your main wolf to act as your new breeding male

- A wolf must be nested by the last day of her pregnancy. If she is not nested, her puppies will die. Nesting material can be gained through rolling over or crafting Here, and requires 10 items to craft. Items, not uses.

- Pregnant wolves regain energy slower than other wolves. If your lead is female and is pregnant, you will only gain 8% energy every 7.5 minutes instead of the usual 10%.

Let me know if you have other questions regarding breeding that I didn't cover, or if you want me to elaborate
