Oh! It's a yellow-throated toucan, seeking fruit among the foliage.
Shake the Branch	You jump and grab the branch with your might jaws! As you thrash your body aroun, something falls down from the branch!	+1 Toucan Feather

It's much easier to hear this green parakeet, rather than see it among the foliage. The bird is making tons of noise, excited to see you, a new, fluffy creature.
Play	You bob your head rhythmically. The parakeet joins in, adding some cool, birdy beat to the dance moves! You two have a little party, and you end up decorated with leaves and feathers.	+1 Parrot Feather

You do a little dance, playing with the large acorn to present it in the most alluring way, then end your show with a vigorous sniff of the nut. Dig!	You run towards a mound and start digging, throwing heaps of earth into the air behind your rump. While it's nice to have easier access to insects, the anteater is quite upset about all the dirt you flung into its fur.	No reward

A beautiful green iguana is chilling on the rocks.
Play	You gently play with the lizard, letting it climb onto you an eat the insects that got entangled in your fur. You didn't expect this to turn into an open buffet! As you roll around in the foliage, you find something neat.	+1 to 3
Grab the tail	You manage to sink your paws into rocks well enough to climb it with confidence. One quick bite and you're chewing on fresh reptile meat!	+5% to 9% hunger

A white-nosed coati is searching the area for food.
Follow	You follow the coatimundi for a while, taking care not to alert the critter. When it stops to visit an opening in a tree, you hide behind a bush, cautiously peeking out to watch the critter's actions. After it leavs, you check out the opening. It's full of coati babies! They disperse in fear, climbing up the tree and out of your reach - but they left behind a toy!	+1 Owl Talon
	You follow the coatimundi for a while until it screams suddenly, startled by your presence! You freeze, shocked by the noise, while the animal climbs up a nearby tree to get away.	No reward
Help Out!	You join in, sniffing around for fruit and larvae. The two of our rejoice when you discover some snake eggs, and you both consume them on the spot! It doesn't really fill a big wolf like yourself, but the meal was quite luxurious indeed.	+2 to 5 HP

A nervous margay is walking by, dragging its kill. It doesn't seem to want to engage in a fight.
Play	You don't really care about the food - you've always wanted to play with a cat! You bow down and invite your new friend to play. Soon enough, you're both wrestling softly! At the end, you exchange headbutts. You part ways, richer in both fun thoughts and friendly cones.	+1 to 4
Steal	You growl at the cat, scaring it to the point that it drops the carcass! You barely pick up on a parting hiss before the cat jumps into a nearby bush.	+1 Opossum Carcass
	You bark loudly, attempting to jump at the cat! It was much faster and climbed up a nearby tree, taking its kill with it.	No reward

You find a cat prowling around in the nearby bush. It's an oncilla, hoping to grab its last snack before hiding in preparation for the upcoming day.
Ambush	You stop moving and wait for a chance to strike. The oncilla pounces at something... finally! You rush at the cat with a vicious growl, but it outsmarted you! It climbs up a nearby tree without letting go of its lizard prey. In all the commotion, you notice something drop down from the branch it climbed, shining among the ferns in the rising sun.	+3
Offer Acorn*	You greet the oncilla, startling it a bit. It quickly recovers and seems quite curious about the item you have for trade. You agree to an exchanges of goods, as the cat is very bored of its current toy.	+1 random uncommon amusement item

You hear the sound of a strange whistling noise echoing through the forest. You follow it, eventually being lead to a strange, long nosed creature. It doesn't seem to notice your approach, and continues its song.
Howl Back	You join in a beautiful harmony with the Baird's tapir - well it sounds beautiful to you anyway.	No reward
Listen	You listen to the sounds of the rainforest - this Baird's tapir whistling is one amongst many voices.	No reward
Interrupt	You start mercilessly barking at the Tapir, watching as it startles and runs away. Yeah... king of the jungle!	No reward

This little auk must have gotten separated from its colony. You hear gulls flying from above. Perhaps they're harassing this little bird.
Bark	You bark viciously at the gulls, catching their attention and provoking them into a few swooping attacks. You grab one of them by the wing! They get scared enough and fly away and leave you both alone.	+1 Gull Feather
	You bark at the gulls, but they only laugh at you before going back to terrorise the auk.	No reward
Offer Acorn*	You call the auk over to you, so that you can conduct a trade. An acorns seem like an amazing exotic item that will look just perfect on top of its nest. You're given a few cool shells in return!	+5 Mollusk Shells

A skua is harassing an Atlantic puffin, hoping some fish will fall out of its beak.
Chase the skua	You run like a mad lad at the bigger bird, jumping into the air to try and distract the bully! You manage to grab a mouthful of feather before both birds flee, terrified of such an energetic carnivore.	+1 Skua Feather
Follow	You quietly stalk the birds, hoping you'll get lucky and treat yourself to some fish, or even some eggs. Sadly, the birds fly away, and all you find are some frozen cones.	+2 to 3
