Another aspect that gets in the way of usability and roleplay is the forced leveling mechanic. Once I've sent a wolf out to hunt or gather herbs, I expect to see what was accomplished once the task is complete. But if that wolf jumped to another level while performing an action, the game doesn't allow you to see the results until you return home to your den page, click on the wolf and level them up first. I had this happen today with three hunts in a row due to a different random wolf leveling up in the middle of the hunt. Stuff like this breaks some of the immersion for me. I realize that the HP system makes levels different from Lioden, but there has to be a better way to make leveling up more user-friendly. Other minor suggestions related to improving the usability of the game are welcome. |
