Efficient Game Play?

Efficient Game Play?

Hello I could use some advice on how to efficiently play Wolvden. I got super excited when I saw a few other threads about Wolvden on another site and jumped right in, perhaps a little too early. I bought a slot for early release, and I've completed all of Taka's quests. However, I'm finding it super difficult to keep up.

I really only have time to log in once, maybe twice a day.

My pack is frequently hungry and my main wolf is sick. My hunts usually end in failure and most battles I take on do not yield any rewards aside from experience. Daily quests don't really work since rollovers hit so quickly for me.

I like the game, and I love trying to collect wolves and make use of the wolves I have, but I just fee like the game is expecting a lot of time, frequent login, and active game play.

As a functional (Or at least I think I am) adult. I really only have time to log in and play at the end of the day. Suggestions? Was I too eager to create a pack? Am I missing something? I'm nervous that the site demands too much of my time and that I've wasted my money on an early release slot.

Your hunt team seems to get along but doesnt seem to have had many hunts.  It takes awhile for proficiency and synergy to go up, as those increase, and stats, hunting will become easier. For now stay in the easier biomes for hunting.

You should be able to find enough food in explore encounters. I suggest feeding your wolves every rollover if you can, and if you do have a day where you can only log in once or twice, I'd suggest not rolling over unless you already have enough resources for them.

Keep hunting and exploring for food and toys. You can sell extra items in TC or in raccoon wares, but I usually have more luck in tc.

For your leader, illness dont spread until after RO, so it shouldnt be a concern so long as you cure it by the end of the day.

I'd suggest checking out the guides for explore encounters so you can get herbs and food more easily.

I recommend checking out this guide! It is very helpful and informative and has guides for a lot of things in-game, all the basics are covered! It is a bit to read but it's definitely worth it, remember to subscribe to it so you don't have to search it up every time (subscribe button is in the black bar above the poster's profile)

Also, I find it helpful to bury 10-30 SC every day so I can stock up without spending too much. It helps me when I need to save up SC for territory slots

I think rolling over every day is a smart move because you passively earn rewards! You can check how what rollover you're on in your user log.

As for your herbalist, you can queue up to 5 recipes so he can work for up to 7.5 hours while you are away for it to gain proficiency and experience. Does require herbs but there are small recipes (2 herbs needed) and common herbs are really cheap if you are missing one. As @Phantom StarsX said, some illnesses are not contagious and might need not to be cured right away (lead and unsorted wolves aside) so check the Illness Guide.

For the start, you don't need more than 2 caves, so I would suggest selling surplus items like den material to the raccoon for territory slots and backup coin. The same goes for healing salves (i think they currently sell at 100sc?) if you are less focused on leveling right now.

Rescouting also gives 2 amusement items.

I would suggest keeping litters at least 6 rollovers apart so you can guarantee survival better and it's less strain on your resources (skipping a heat to gain more stats first is what I do quite a bit).

I also made a guide on how get sc faster which might be helpful to prioritize?

And if you're really in a pickle, there are plenty of gifting threads, donation centers in so on to help someone out :D
