I just want to preface this and say I think remnants are a very cool idea.

That said, I kind of wish you could choose either remnants or the item itself, or have a way to convert items to remnants without feeding/playing, for crafting.

I purposely keep a lower number of wolves. I can only convert five to six amusement/food items into remnants a day. So whereas before I could just use all these items I gathered, now it's going to be a dragging on process of burning through uses to get that fragment.

Thank you so much for the newest update, this is such a welcome change.

The only thing I think might not be working as intended is very, very minor. When you finish a stack, the game kind of forgets to take you back to the rest of the hoard? For example, I don't have enough hungry wolves to finish these right now but if all the meat is consumed it will just... leave me on the page like there's more food to eat, instead of going back to my hoard where I can select additional food. This is a very minor thing, I just thought I'd mention it in case it wasn't intentional or something.


Edit: Here we go, I forgot I can do it with toys too.

Is there a reason why the Remnant: Fox Tail [Arctic] isn't a thing?
I can see in a recipe that "Remnant: Fox Tail [Gray]" exists and I used up two arctic tails thinking I'd get remnants for those too but I got none.

I don't think arctic fox tails are crafting supplies yet, right? That is, they aren't, as of now, used for anything, they are only trophies. Right now the only things that drop remnants are things that are actually used in recipes.

Ah, I didn't realise. Guess I'm going to have to do some googling before using certain items so I don't use up stuff I'll need later. Thanks for clarifying!

I'll have to do the same. I'm not sure which ones all don't but for now, I guess I'll just bury anything I don't actively see in a recipe. Thanks!
