New and have a question or two

Hi! I started playing a few days ago and while I do have a good rundown on the game, I'm more curious about chatter and wolf buying because of all the amazing wolves I've seen in other people's dens thus far.
So, what I wanted to know is: What do all the abbreviations stand for? (I know SC = silver cone and GC = gold cone) And, How do people normally price their wolves? Is there some sort of criteria the wolf must meet to be sold for a good price?

SC = Silver Cone
GC = Gold Cone
NBW = Newly Befriended Wolf - Those wolves that you find in explore that have no parents in their family tree
NIB/IB = Non-Inbred/Inbred - Inbreeding has no effect on gameplay but some people like to avoid it for lore purposes, or as an extra challenge
G# = Refers to what generation the wolf is. A G2 wolf is Generation 2, there are only its parents in the family line. A G3 wolf has grandparents, and so on.
M# = Refers to the number of markings a wolf has
T# = Refers to what tier - 1, 2, or 3 - a wolf is

That's all the abbreviations I usually use, let me know if you've seen any I missed!

For pricing, I use the spreadsheet calculator advertised by the Wolvden Merchant Guild (a group of users who try to keep prices fairly stable), you can find that here. Be aware that if you sell a puppy for 25SC or less they will likely be given to the enclave to fulfill a quest, not actually brought into someone's pack.

ah I see, thank you!

Also, tiers, what are those? I've also seen the word "tiers" around the site but not sure what they are

Tiers are kind of like the rarity in a Wolf's base, I believe.

Tier 1s are the easiest to get.

Tier 2s are a bit harder,

and Tier 3s are generally the most difficult to get.

Tiers also contribute into breeding, kind of like how if you breed a tier 1 with a tier 2, you're more likely to get a tier 1 offspring from it than a tier 2. It just kind of progresses on from there.

There are also special tiers, but those are in their own sort of league.
