pls let us use fonts... i was trying to name my wolf for 20 mins "𝖇𝖔𝖓𝖊𝖒𝖆𝖗𝖗𝖔𝖜" went to like so many different sites because i thought maybe it was the fonts not being compatible because it kept yelling @ me that it needs to be 25 or less.........bonemarrow is ........10 letters....... but my other wolves that have font names worked? but i ended up having to butcher it to Marrow.. i just want my wolves name to look pretty, when a game is aesthetically pleasing, it entices me to play more.. yes... me not being able to have pretty wolf names is rubbing me the wrong way off of this game which i rlly like :(

The problem you are having is that this isn't actually a font - those characters are unicode characters that are different from the actual letters, that's why you can use them places that don't allow you to actually change fonts. Characters like this are encoded as multiple characters in html, for example 𝖇 is actually & #120199; (without the space), and when they're uncommon the codes get extremely long. So to be usable you need to pick shorter names and letters with shorter codes, this is a limitation of html and will happen no matter what the actual character limit is.

Unfortunately, as Sparrow noted above, that is how the characters are encoded, and not something that we are able to change.

You can see how many characters certain text is by using a site like this one:
https://wordcounter.net/character-count

Using the text above, you can see that it counts as 20 characters:
