When you're lead wolf retires, if you choose a female heir who is under a year old, is she supposed to go into heat right aways, or would her "cycle" stay the same, so if she was 10m old, she would come into heat in 4 days? I'm confused about this, because my original lead wolf just retired today, and it's my first time having one retire.

I don't know about leads specifically but I know using aging crystals or sex changers will throw off the timing of a wolf's heat, so I'd say this is working as intended, having her not go into heat for a few more days.
