Chased wolves keep their original ID

so personally, whenever i chase a wolf, i'd really like to see if someone ever found it & watch my puppers grow up as a new G1. however, this is kind of hard to do when the only way to find your former wolf again is if you put their image in an R&C forum or make a forum yourself, which isn't always reliable since not everyone decides to look in forums to see if someone would like to know they have their former pack member.
i'm just suggesting that when you chase a wolf, their ID is saved rather than remade when claimed. this way, maybe like a month from chasing, you decide to put the ID into the search bar and find the claimed wolf. of course, nothing would come up if the wolf was deleted/failed to be reclaimed.
i am aware that there is some kind of problem with people demanding their chased/sold wolves be kept, bred, studded in a certain way, or given back, since when you chase their lineages are reset. however this can be solved on the receiver's end by blocking, reporting, or just not interacting with the person. once someone has sold or chased their wolf and it is in your ownership, it is yours, and they can't tell you what to do with it! don't be pressured by someone else into bending over backwards to make a wolf a certain way when you don't want to. i'm addressing this because someone might bring this particular problem up.
implementing a way for people to find out their chased wolves' fate would be really nice. in no way is this necessary, but would be a cool feature.
this would probably only require a few tweaks to the code concerning rerolls (like stat rerolling & recreating ID).
