My personal headcanon is that Nobaby died from starvation when she got separated from her pack (likely by bad weather or even stranger wolves chasing her away) and she became aware that she's not a real wolf (Kinda breaking the 4th wall) So she's trying to show signs that she still exists, despite her ghostly, glitchy form.
