~~~~ I dont care what they think. I will stop at nothing. A second wolf to be born of inky fur and a spill of stars. As usual, gossip dripped about the poor scapegoat of his mother, Shimmer. Even her mate hesitated. Only Sukio defended their progeny. The clan was beginning to pick sides. A rift was forming in the hunters; of status. Those who hunted in the forest and those who hunted in the west. It was because of Foxglove that the social heiress finally lost her touch among the clan, and joined sides of the lesser hunting wolves. The clan grew unruly. Shimmer's health had taken a hit at his birth, and the tedious LMW blamed it on the young Foxglove, wanting nothing to do with him out of shame. With Shimmer confined to the nursery, his parents were almost absent. Open Sky; familar with being an outcast, welcomed him into her nest, alongsides her daughter, Grotto of Secrets. From the moment they met, the little turquoise pup was a light in his dark red eyes. He grew from surly to friendly; but only when she was around him. The jealous nature of his father would return whenever anyone stole her from him; like her sister, Kepler. But taking note of this protectiveness; her older kin was given a hand in later manipulating him. It was difficult getting Foxglove to talk to her at first. But Kepler played her pup sister's card to her favor. She coaxed him with attention; training him young, listening to his young insecurities. He thought he was special. He would show them he was strong and worthy, and he would protect his best friend, Grotto of Secrets. She saw the anger and hurt in Foxglove, and aspired to twist it against who she wanted. One faithful short-sun night, she did. Foxglove never remembered slipping over a murdered Incandesence's blood as he scruffed a young Wire and his siblings. All the pounding in his head as well as Kepler deceived him into thinking that Grotto was in danger, and so were the pups. "We're doing the right thing. We'll protect them, you and I; my son. Don't look back. They'll catch us." All he can remember is scratching his pelt on the hard, dark, unfamiliar forest floor as he watched Kepler race ahead of them. He handed off the pup he had saved to a wolf that did not smell like anyone he'd ever known. His small lungs contracted with inability to keep their pace. He was scared; was the threat going to catch him if he couldn't? He was met with only his clan who pursued the thief in horror. That was the last he saw of Kepler until seasons later, when he would repay the favor for the children taken in Kepler's Reaping. The clan despised him, a commonality he shared with Impulse, who would go on to mentor him. Unlike all other mentor wolves in his life, this one was good. He befriended the queen's daughter; Jinx, but she was usually lost in her own world. His childhood did not improve thereafter. Foxglove began to hate himself, horribly guilty coming to terms with Kepler's betrayal, and openly swore vengeance on her, yet the clan still whispered of his loyalties. Like all wolves of the time, they slept on empty stomachs and did not grow; but weaken. Grotto of Secrets remained his little candle in a dark world. She kept him from true irrationality, because he wanted to be more like her. He loved her, and she always told him she loved him. She cleared his mind always, and let him talk freely, and talk he did. He always obeyed anything she asked without question. Foxglove only smiled around her, then and for a long time after when they were no longer friends. Meanwhile, Impulse currated his quiet hunting skill. The two made a good team, and built off of eachother's teachings. They traversed places no regular neophyte would be taken; with some hope to find a hint of Kepler. Impulse had his reasons-- among the pups stolen were his half brothers and sister. Together, they watched and listened. Many seasons passed and they grew thinner. But Kepler would not hide forever. Foxglove knew her better. When she resurfaced on the border with White Wolf by her side, it was up to them to warn the clan. Against all belief, they lead the charge that pushed back her and Sapphire Clan. A quarter moon of intense fighting. The only target Foxglove wanted was her. They hunted eachother like the dogs they were. She would offense him and then reatreat into the woods. Foxglove didnt sleep for days. Finally he realized she'd been using the undergrowth to travel; a land he was well too acquainted with. He chased her into the night, and after many strikes and kicks and sprays of bloodshed, he plunged her into the Wending Trial pools, and drowned her, bringing her tail back as proof of her death. Her forces melted back into the west. oh my fucking god everything was deleted but Kepler returns with white wolf, at which point Foxglove kills her over a matter of two days before returning to struggling; disbanding the information system for Sapphire Clan. it is because of this that her regime in the mountains breaks down as White Wolf returns to the mountains with Sapphire clan; and eventually, the freedom of Kepler's cult children who she obtained from all groups; wolven and dagari alike. they struggle some more in the winter. Foxglove takes the time to come out and get together a little, but is still pretty fucked up over all he's faced and done. Recognizing a bad mania, Grotto begins to express this, especially after he showed only gratitude for his father's death as well in killing *the sister that was responsible for naming her* the sister that acted as a second mother to Grotto as a pup. Even if Kelper was evil and messed up a lot of wolves up including the both of them. They get in a fight, and Grotto for the first time ever doesnt hold back over him. She's fed up over his lack of consideration to her actual feelings about her sister while parading around a black and white version. It wasnt directly his fault; but Grotto let Foxglove be the fall for her every injury and hurt; because he told her he could, and therefore just let him think what he wanted to. Grotto wants some time to grieve and think; which Foxglove accepts, but as temporary. She later becomes a soft queen without even telling him; even if it's more as a punishment to herself. Life goes, moving on. Foxglove is freshly in his third wending. grown; and infamous. Foxglove currated and led the charge along with Impulse that led to a victory against their eastern forces. Because of which, he's finally redeemed his place in the clan and anchores their respect, as well as bachlorette attention, even if he only has eyes for Grotto. He's assigned alongsides Phantom to mentor the prodigy child, Fire Rising, who has her mother's flighty talents. Unenthused, he takes this as little more then his duty at first. However their mentorship is forced as Phantom becomes expectant; and unease creeps in as he gets to know her; the reason for which, he cant garner, although it effects the way he treats her. The two grow harsh with one another quickly, Foxglove taking the opportunity to push her limits because of her quick attitude. Their tension snaps with Fire Running's tuntil he approaches the estranged Grotto of Secrets one day; the fresh Spine Queen, with the intention to ask her whether he can mentor another wolf. Upon denial, he asks if she's ever noticed a problem with Fire Running, and Grotto of Secrets mentions reservedly how much of Foxglove she sees in his apprentice; reminding her of him when they were younger. "Your follower," She calls Fire Running. But wants nothing to do with Foxglove thereafter other then duties. He still presents her with a lilly of the valley, the turquoise wolf's favorite flower; and goes off to sulk. She'd reminded him, of the first time in the several moons since; of Kepler, his own mentor of sorts. Grotto must have known. She'd still be thinking of her sister as well. The way she abandoned the both of them. Foxglove grits his teeth, resolved to persist with mentoring his neophyte. His influence in the clan grows, and as Hajj ages; there's talk of him becoming the next Watcher. This only raises his will; he teaches with spite, in the same ways that he knew Kepler to treat him; that is, until Fire Running breaks; something Kepler didn't have enough time to accomplish in Foxglove. Shame is something he never thought he'd know. But oh, how it feels now. Realizing what he's repeated, he apologizes, and leaves. Foxglove needed to stop envisioning her as himself, but rather as the neophyte she's growing to be. Her own wolf. He talks with Impulse often, the figure he should have consulted in the first place. "How did you ever deal with me?" And Foxglove discovers, it's patience, and empathy. Impulse was yet another wolf in the cycle after all; understanding the neglect and loss that arose from being alone as a neophyte. Foxglove allows himself to care the only way he has with the Grotto of Secrets, who treated his love as selfish. He takes care of Fire Running while she's distraught from failing her proving trials; training her better; but also training her to love herself, when the only wolf there to guide her is him. "Be there for yourself too, Fallower," He's shocked; but not surprised, when she tells him the way she sees herself. He only half smiles, though, telling her it's for the better that she ascends into her third wending this way, with stories about his own third-night; the rituals he did with cutting his pelt; scarring his eyes to make himself more angular, and styling the riff on his back like dazes did. How she can do the same, if she wishes. To live the way she loves herself; as after all, that's something Foxglove's mentoring experience has taught him. Honest with eachother, the two meet again as Falla and Foxglove, friends. They remain friendly a long time. Despite attempts to reconcile with Grotto, Foxglove eventually concedes that not every relationship can be mended in the same sense, and he drops it, even if he still cares for her. He takes this heartbreak quietly, but Falla still notices; with her own feelings for him. Foxglove mentors Lightless thereafter, a new entrant in the clan with Falla as his co-teacher. They spend more time together alone, and one day, after Falla diverts his paralysis by a bull elk chase, she confesses. "By the four, I have to tell you I love you before you get killed. You've survived the Frostbite; Sapphire Clan, and a broken heart; but I'm afraid I cant if something where to take you before I could say it." A stunned Foxglove raises slowly from the ground with a tall tail. Falla's ears flatten, "Wait!" She cries. "I just meant to tell you. I'm sorry; I never meant to imply anything of us..!" The night wolf sighs, and bumps her chin with his nose. "Don't be. I've spent too long running from feelings, it's about time I followed them instead. If you lead," He proclaims, as their tails brush on the return to the clan. After several successes growing into powerful wolves; his last neophyte comes when Living Mice is assigned to him, the last daughter to Petrichor Smoke. Foxglove ends up facing the same trial waters again; where he drowned Kepler and nearly died; to save the child from an untimely death, and retires from teaching thereafter, with a single exception. After much a happy time, Foxglove weans a son, named by Falla for his seed-like patches as Strawberry. The two are an especially close father and son, and when Foxglove becomes horribly wounded, Strawberry calls upon the ghosts he hears to save Foxglove, not yet his time. ~ I keep forgetting he's shimmer's baby pff Dark Horse As soon as her eyes on you, you can feel the sting of suspicion, which is more worrying then the chase observing you.. Flatiron befriended Strawberry Crush when both were young; but as the days wore on and their paths separated, their friendship did not remain. Her mother constantly pushed her; as the daughter of the two most respected and elite wolves in the clan, yet somehow, she was weak-boned; never building muscle despite how much she ate, and never proving her commitment to the kill; as a child. On the first glimpse of the blue wolf, she'd just attempted her summative hunt. Flatiron's legs shook, trotting along with shoulders hunched and tail tucked, her mouth rippled in blood; looking at the ground when she'd bumped into them. Looking up into their multicolored face, she asked, "Am I dreaming? Have you come to take me away because I've failed my father?" Paroxysm only smiled passively at her. "My love, I am no angel." Desire grew like a planted seed. Flatiron dreamed of them day and night, always watching shyly whenever they came to be around camp, listening on the side as her parents conversed with them. She sat around new-moon rings looking for them; and one winter's night; she grew bold, and challenged them to combat customary of dagari courting rituals. Sensing her motives and impressed with her traditional practice, Paroxysm let themselves be felled easily in exchange for a boon; in which Flatiron requested they to sire her litter, and they obliged, entertained by this feme. At their request, Flatiron never disclosed the father of her first litter, for fear of Celestica's wrath if he were to discover the actions of his protector. The deeper into expectancy Flatiron grew, Paroxysm drew to her strangely close: he had never been attached to litter this closely before, and never the queen bearing them; but Flatiron became unique in his eyes. Though they couldn't be seen together often in case of suspicion, Paroxysm kept her nest warm when there were no stars in the sky, and they often talked about many a secret. She knew many more of theirs then anyone living could atone to. After Pale Gaze and their siblings were born, Flatiron did not see them again for quite some moons, but she never let disappointment overtake her, too busy rearing her cherished pups. Despite her
╚ Ts - Forbidden Friendship ╗ ✶ White'se was named such by her mothers after her bright white eyes, which she had as a child. These have slowly colored into a bright blue, however. She's somewhat child-like, and requires a great amount of patience, not often understanding communication on the first try. She has an excellent eye, however, and can see the smallest of details from any distance. ✶ Happened upon during a clan raid; when Opal Clan retreated even further west to avoid the new-found bandit clans scouring the mountains in place of Sapphire Clan and the white reign. She was taken by the warring wolves who discovered her; Soft Dream and Archangel, searching the wreckage for anything amiss. White'se was hidden in an ox carcass in the scarce hopes to save her from the intrusion. Soft Dream had to eat at it for almost an hour to free the little scrap, who watched with wide, uncertain eyes. The stinky little red pup took to Archangel, after all that, and the two set about as her mothers, never telling her anything other. Her natal pack, Opal Clan, disintegrated from being shortly after. No one's entirely sure if White'se isnt aware of the fact that she cant have been born from two femes, or if she simply doesnt care. A strange name, given that she's wolf born. more later kills bismuth in the future <3 Theme. A popular figure, liked for her charming elusiveness. She does her best to make you feel believed; supported; and special; and then turns on you. She cares very little for everyone, with few exceptions being her mother, brother, and former mate. Ladail is very apathetic. If given the chance, she would join her mother's natal clan; Fireclan, for a chance to start over; however they seem uninterested in taking her back, especially now with the rise of a new alpha after the death of Fire Claw. 1. (i think the more likely case,) Gorgeous and pretty, passing into adulthood despite advances from Bismuth, she falls for the notorious Frozen River because he's also gorgeous; despite warnings from the clan, his much older age, and even hearing ab Incandescence. They are mated, and because they're both horrible bastards who counter eachother, they actually care for one another a geniunely good relationship. Ladaile fails pregnant pretty fast, and everything's going well. Now, nobody except Celestica knows about FR's curse (because of the situation with incandescense; he and his children are doomed to die early and very painfully) and he pities her, not knowing both her children and love are doomed. However, then something happens; fortunately or unfortunately depending on perspective; where FR dies (potentially because of something bismuth was involved with), essentially breaking the fated death sentence on the pups Ladalie is expecting. But this makes her feel incredibly alone; and not wanting to be a repeat of her mother Moorland Flower, she takes up on Bismuth's courting and passes the pups off as his before siding with Fireclan and getting him killed by his own brother. |
Selene w/ blue eyes black butcher. Born (unoffically) to Paroxysm and Flatiron. ~ ⊗ A bitter young wolf. ⊗ They spent their childhood being ignored, and grew accustomed to the matter. They're reserved but not entirely difficult to get along with. The child of Paroxysm and Flatiron they thought would never happen, as Flatiron was believed to be unable to carry viable pups. Pale Gaze hates their sire and how much they look like them for how replacably they treat their mother. They're very protective of their mother and wont tolerate their parent being near Flatiron. Trained viciously alongside mountain wolves as well as being a neophyte of Foxglove. Delta bargined for their life, and the two became friends. No one told her from where she'd come; and in time, it faded from her thoughts as the question turned to survive the cult. The other one did not, however. They were taken together. Whether kin or clanmate; they stayed close nonetheless. Her first friend. They who spoke in the dark; about little things. Just their voices were enough. Unburdened with the possibility a future. Lioness remembered smiling around her. Never a name given; it was forbidden. She didnt remember when the other one stopped showing up. Lioness knew she was hardly a pup around then; however. Of 32 pups, She was one of four survivors. When the clan found them, Lioness only listened, shrugging indifferently. When the other pups spoke; Lioness listened hard. No matter how much she willed it, she did not hear the other one's voice. It would always stick with her in her life, gentle and sly, like wet pawsteps on a dark cave floor. Even if it faded from memory, the other one did not. Lioness joined the clan believing that they had saved her from Kelper's torture training and had nothing to do with her captivity. Upon finding the truth, her fragments of trust were shattered. While she remains in service, they mean nothing to her. Impulse is a very sympathetic creature. A shock, considering his history. Turned at every turn; from his birth mother dying in birth to suffering and ill, almost lost a number of times; failing his wending trials to bad circumstance, being trained by the irritable Blackened Winds; losing his toes to a cougar accident followed by scratches up his flank and loss of his right eye. He was friendless for most of his youth regardless his amiable personality. A bad omen, they whispered. His bad luck was not something to be tolerated. Only his father and adoptive mother were there. Impulse regards Phantom very kindly, and loves her very much. Despite his family however; Impulse lived with his ears flat and belly restless, for it disappointed him to eat without somewhat to share it with. Finally during his adolescence, he gained the trust of Frozen River, and it was near love at first sight for him. He adored the gorgeous white wolf, playing it up for him; though it was evident Frozen River could not ever return feelings. He did not like dazes in the sense that Impulse wished he did; and so he kept it under the bridge. Nonetheless the two liked one another; leader and sidekick. Being friends with this popular neophyte finally opened some doors for him, and the clan's young opened up to his kindness. He was revered for it; in apology for discarding the poor wolf. In spite of what the rest of the clan thinks; that the two bad omens were paired together; Impulse chose to mentor Foxglove; because he saw himself in him. He cares for him like a younger brother, and that he is. The two still have a strong relationship. In terms of actual siblings; Impulse was very excited to hear the news of siblings, followed by devastation and rage after they were stolen; when once more, the rumors of infanticide marked his mother like locusts. He was there to see the release of Kepler's children, and the first to recognize his shrunken; emaciated half-brother who was lost to the darkness so many seasons ago. As it is now, he and Wire get along somewhat. He despises how dark-natured and humored his brother is; but in the end he understands. His kindness did not go unadmired. Through the years, he had been courted a number of times, but it ends ultimately because Impulse still waited for Frozen River. Once he'd heard about his abandonment of Incandescence however; these feelings snapped immediately. Love returned with Spoiled Tongue; a former Sapphire-clan wolf whom he helped integrate. These realistic and apparently consequential dreams scare an already disturbed pup in the beginning; however Jinx takes solace in the certainty of his visits; and his passivity. She allows herself to grow close; spending days upon days exploring a world that exists only in their heads. Their meetings leave Jinx in long periods of fugue and restlessness; she's unable to truely process the waking world among others until being reunited with the one of reincarnation. In a world that ages much faster then that of the waking; the two live an entirely separate life together. They witness the rise and fall of the clan, and many others like it; the only two who could ever know the fate of their world. She knew their child long before anyone else. She knew what he was meant for. ~~ It had been a long labor for Jinx. The days faded with deep blue and cresting frost that bit into the pelts of every wolf-kind. Her dedicated mate did not leave her once, keeping her warm with his burning wolf furs. The clan stirred about in the cold, milling like ghosts, quiet silhouettes. A few eyes glinted in the den, shredded open with spasms of pain. The sky was wonderfully dark; blanketing those below as they stiffened in the cold. The first day of short-sun, but all anyone cared to mind were the stars above, how plentiful they were, as though the dead were smiling with sharp glinting teeth. Three wolves lay within the den. Although Sukio was expecting as well; her last litter as older wolf, Visions knew her sister would not bear the clan's heir. She watched expectantly of her half kin, smiling nervously and mumbling the words over and over, turning them on their heads. Would they know at once, who's paws the fate of the clan would lie in? Phoenix had been the most talkative of the trio. Uncharacteristic of him, considering the only wolf-kind who heard his whimsical drawl was Jinx herself. He murmured lullabies into the still air, his breath staining the sky. The male himself was another wolf of stars. Born again and again without ending; but of all his lives, he would always remember the first litter his samsara bound mate gave him. A pinnacle; the reason of bearing through his undying existence. Jinx had not spoken. Though her suffering eased in and out, allowing her to roam the forests as she had in dream and before carrying Celestica and his brother. The two had quite a weight on the slighter feme, but they almost seemed to carry her from the veil that usually shrouded her demeanor. At last, she would meet them. Most of her life she had dreamed of these children, and missed them deeply when she had finally broken from the world of dreams to meet Phoenix. She still knew Celestica from head to toe; the leader he would be, the legacy he would set forth. The clan was far from death, unlike her mother feared. She waited impatiently with wide alloy eyes. Oh, to speak of the latter. Jinx lifted her head to find her mother sheltering her from the sky. A low growl, Moon Tears simply licked her head and nuzzled her frame. Shock came from the male trailing behind her; the massive, moss furred Petrichor Smoke. Jinx had long an understanding of this wolf as her father, but was still surprised as his presence. He seemed to smile; hard to tell in the darkness, and posted himself outside. A pain. She remembered her mother's eyes flashing, grey irises always so stern as the older wolf Jinx knew. Her two sons. "Bismuth," She croaked. "Celestica." Celestica. She could tell in the darkness the bright, deep red furs that came from her mate. His flowing dagari mane and cropped wings were just starting to blossom, something Jinx never remembered about her time knowing him before. Her maw broke in joy. "My loves," She whimpered, watching as Phoenix knelt his head to clean them before nibbling her ear. The moon swelled. The leader herself turned to watch the glow, her ears hiked high. Jinx rolled from her side from her squirming pups, inching them into the open winds to catch a glance. Moon Tears looked from the light to Jinx with knowing. She looked between her two grandsons; the bright little scraps with a shining blue noses like hers. Jinx only shrugged slyly. ~ ALSO she's friends with Paroxysm having met it in the dreamworld. they understand and respect eachother even if not super close. Jinx, understanding their role in keeping her son alive and well, put Celestica up to the task of making Paroxysm the next dykpeli watcher. This was not difficult, seeing as Irregular was in on it; and being another dykpeli she has some say in who her apprentice is. Now; the timeline goes that Celestica carries out Irregular's oath, essentially summoning Paroxysm to the clan; where Jinx persuades her son; and Irregular apprentices him shortly before her death. this is all important in the grander scheme of things. ~ FORGOT TO MENTION she and her bio dad have a 5th sense where she kinda knows like,, oh im descended from you. and he wants to apprentice her because of this. just cuz pet abandons his kids from all other clans doesnt mean he has to abandon her hajj doesnt suspect shit & jinx likes him better anyway ~ IVE SPENT 1x Losna MA 3x RMA 1x Moonbow A 1x Airglow BA EXPENSIVE AND FOR WHAT NVM FOR A REALGARRR New Day kinda got uh deleted but she was a wolf from the earlier days; during Nesting Osprey's time where he had a crush on her. She was a pupsitter and sharper tongued. Phoenix Clear your mind, a battle is not won in chaos. ~ He A dagari cursed with an eternally beating heart; to run again and again and never rise from this cycle of samsara. It is said that each death will stain the sea red with his blood until he finds them; the one who touches his heart first. The wolf will be bound to him; life after life, where in happiness; they are doomed never to gain more then one another until death. ~ He also then translates into the same Phoenix thousands of years later who becomes one of the fates; ending this cycle. Because I will never explain my 8 year old lore, you have no idea what this means! soft dream Archangel |
~~~~ For every moment I exist, I feel as though I am stealing the life of the woman born to be me. Theme Song ~ Born at the end of the frostbite; living up to the sweetest of appearances and positive demeanor, it's difficult to believe Falla struggled so much with self image. It practically consumed her in her youth. From her time of birth, she was inadvertently pressured by the expectations of her now single mother as a higher hunter. Fire Running was born near the end of her father Sun Canary's life; and didnt know him all that well before he died. She's told she takes after him in the best of ways. Being raised by a mother struggling with the grief over her mate's decline molded Falla into the caretaker, something September Midday will forever resent herself for. She is centered arounds taking care of others and leaving the bones and scraps of love for herself. This neglect drove her to misery and closeted her expression for the longest of times. The fresh yearling Foxglove was assigned to shadow-mentor her alongsides Phantom, and at once; presented with such a stoic, powerful, and traditionally masculine figure, the shadows on Fire Running grew long. Fire Running aspired to be him; to live up to Foxglove's presence. But the more she took from him; from his expressions of bottling, hiding, and critism; the worst habits Foxglove picked up from his own youth; the worse her anger became. And as a surprise to both of them, it was directed at him. She started calling out Foxglove's injustices; his insecurities and projections; which he did not take kindly to. He began leaving her strictly to Phantom's devices, because he knew to some extent he was right about him. His limited training became more direct; and harsher, leaving less room for him to need to talk to her. Fire Running insisted they fight one day; until long after the sun set; and she had not one victory over him. Offput by her ferocity, he reached to help her up from the mud they had coated with scars; and she screamed at him. "I want to be good. To make others good. I'm acting like all the great wolves in my life; and for what? Why is it so miserable to be you? It's supposed to fix me. It's to make me be what I'm supposed to be.. Why is it not enough?" There was a long silence between them. Foxglove; the clan's most stubborn wolf in the absence of Blackened Winds; dropped his tail. His apology would always stick with Falla then; "I never made you enough. You cant ask that I fix you; because I hurt you. But you are a good wolf, and a brave wolf; and that makes you more then enough." But, she only broke from there. Her devotion drained with her loss of anger. The split training resumed; only.. differently; as most things were as Fire Running approached her third wending. Sun Canary died; and she was disconnected from herself, especially as her puppish furs grew long and stiff; with a boxy snout and angular frame. Foxglove guided her more closely. He told her how she was improving; and how to keep on going. He picked up on her habits of comfort; and took to making sure she was taking care of herself; observing how little she ever dined, and letting her eat at their kills; even if they werent supposed to- He adjusted to taking the blame of a big stomach. He forced her to rest on her bad days, and stayed with her. Fire Running; usually mechanical in her daily life, became prone to crying outbursts when she was with the wolf she trusted. Foxglove opened up, so she wouldnt feel as alone. He talked about the way he never felt like he fit in, admitting details of a life he used to lead. Fire Running understood every word. It dug into her enough to spit out the words that felt like black posion; that she didnt feel like a daze; like she was stealing a daze's body. The truth that had felt wrong had showed in other ways. She resisted speaking to avoid hearing the deepness of her voice. She avoided building muscle and a strong frame. She'd wanted to be a feme. Foxglove was the first wolf she'd told. Followed by her mother, and other wolves that understood dysphoria to her comfort. Fire Running's transition was the next part; and it wasnt as simple as it had been for some of the others; but it came with relief. She and Foxglove eased from teaching roles by the time she was at her third wending; where she spent a night under the stars as the grown Fire Running; and Returned as Falla. They became friends, always Falla's first confidant; and she always made him laugh; a pretty, sharp sound for her well-trained ears. Like music. In a world as equals now; though, her eyes opened to the way Foxglove often spoke of and to a turquoise feme named Grotto of Secrets. The affection that lined his voice; once, even, flowers; even if she turned him away with closed off eyes. It might have been the one time in her life Falla had ever felt jealous. The moment after, where Foxglove had instead dressed Falla's hair with them; was the one where she knew she liked dazes. The feeling of worthlessness crept on her; but she pushed it aside with friendship that made her heart ache. Oh; why does he cause so much suffering whenever I love him? But she knew it was on her this time. She owed him too much to ever encroach on what he might have wanted with the other feme. All she could do was love him as she did in her heart, even if it could never go further. Falla was never one for hiding, after all. She slept with one paw extended in her sleep; her mountain air songs always spoke of longing; harmonizing with his. They hunted together often and stayed out for hours; Falla would never know why until much later. i stole that quote up there btw April's Eclipse ~ Dont be careless. You might find I am there to follow through with such consequences.
Rarely, Eclipse will guide his young siblings into the edge of the forest where they will watch the sky; dark with the time of Silacc as he tells stories of ghost and legend. ~ He/they funniest thing is he and April are related too, he's their nephew by lineage ~~~~ Four. Wire was a direct apprentice of White Wolf. Named by him, even. And thus knows and carries practices of the dismantled wolf clan, Sapphire Clan. Whatever he knows about the last Sapphire Clan alpha is protected behind unhesitating teeth. A steely invidual, hostile when approached. He is good friends with Dark Horse, and rarely speaks to others outside of her. He usually avoids Phantom and Midnight Wings; his parents. Each side has tried to reach out to one another, but it is unlikely to be repaired in this life. In the few times since they've talked; Wire has asked those frequent to him to be called 'Sölséh,' which is their name for him had he remained. yes i did the diacriticals with intention of having them be pronounced that way. i think it's right. it should be like s-uuol-sEh. ~ Her/He The sunlight half of the mysterious litter. New Day seems more like her parent Prisma, but doesnt carry half of the charm. She seems like them when they were younger, flushed and rude; as well as mysterious like Drowning Night. She and her sister do not see eye to eye. He is very sharp, like the sun. New Day was coined by Lavender Helmi, as the eldest; he marked the beginning of their parenthood together. Many believe she is bitter about being chosen and raised to become a mentor queen, though her and Lavender Helmi's relationship has not suffered because of this. Indeed she can be seen watching after his sister longingly when her and the lesser hunters depart. |
