Decorations disappearing from my hoard after using them?

I recently bought the gold lunula (2) and heather crown from the raccoon and wanted to equip the lunula on my hunters, but after using it twice, on two different wolves, BOTH items have disappeared from my hoard, even the full use one I haven't touched yet. I've refreshed the page, gone and done random tasks on the site, and logged out and back in, and the items are still gone. Is there any way for me to get them back, or did I waste my smoky quartz and lose my items for good??
If anyone has an answer, it would be super appreciated as I'm at a loss for what to do! :'D

Okay, it's not just the event items I just bought, it's other items I've had in my hoard for a while. I'll equip them on a wolf and it says it still has 5 uses, but it vanished from my hoard after 1 use???

This is planned for and intended. I don't much like the mechanic but an item can be applied to only one wolf at a time. When you unequip it or your wolf dies, it'll have one use less but you will still be able to apply it to another wolf four times.
Basically, it has five uses, but can be stuck to only one wolf. It cannot be used on several wolves at the same time.

Sadly decorations can only be equipped on one wolf at a time - the uses are for how many times you can take it off a wolf and put it on another. They'll be 'attached' to the wolf rather than in your hoard.

Have you checked the wolf you equipped it to? They should now have it, listed on their page.
