Eloria || 18 || Interacting With: Antora

Eloria, after looking around decided the best errand to run first was to stop in the blacksmith's shop. It was the closest to her family's store, so if whatever her father had ordered was too heavy, Eloria could simply drop it off and run the rest of her errands. She walked through the town, nodding greetings to people as she passed. Even though she didn't have many friends her own age, Eloria did know quite a few people due to interactions at her family's shop. Eventually, Eloria made it across the town square until she stood in front of the blacksmith's shop. One deep breath in and a corresponding exhale later, Eloria was entering the building.

Once in the shop, Eloria started speaking to the blacksmith. "Hello! I'm here to pick up something for Solomon," It was after the words had left her mouth that Eloria noticed another person was also in the waiting area, "Oh, uh, hi," the bit of social confidence that had been shown at the beginning of her interaction in the shop was gone, leaving the awkward mess that was Eloria standing there feeling awkward.

Koda  ||  17  ||  Interacting With: Kaido ||  Currently:  At town square

Koda's head hung low. His soft green eyes locked on the shiny red color of his shoes. He watched his steps closely, studying the slow movements. He wasn't moving very fast, he was in no rush. His thin, pale lips met one another as his eyes fluttered close for a split second. A soft hum emerged from his throat. The soft rhythm that was sung from his nose distracted him from the rest of the world. His surroundings became a blur. The people that once accompanied him were gone. The voices that filtered through him were hushed. Koda became alone in his thoughts.

There has to be life outside the walls, right? His lightly pigmented brows furrowed. If there's other creatures outside the walls, there's other people. It just makes sense. Koda's mind was dirtied with questions, with wonders. He never had been curious about this until he found a disregarded map of the borders in his fathers office.

His hand slide into the pocket of his the baggy black pants, feeling around for the folded sheet of paper he had hidden there days prior. The crumbling paper met his finger tips sending a slight shiver down his spine. He fumbled around his pocket, intertwining his fingers with the wrinkles of the map.

Within seconds another body met Koda's left shoulder, hitting him with reality. Koda's roughly pulled his hand from his pocket not releasing the fragile paper. The old, torn map slipped from his long fingers, sending it whirling round the soft breeze. His eye's narrowed as he lost his balance sending him to the cement of town square. The young adult that nudged him to the ground only grumbled under his breath, walking away swiftly. The only words Koda could make out were 'stupid kid'. He huffed before wiping off the dust from his legs. It suddenly hit Koda. He panickly opened his hands, revealing his sweaty palms. The paper was gone. He glanced around the cold stone in a hurry. Koda sat there before giving up hope. The cloud of guilty, turned into more of a cloud of disappointment.

Koda pushed his weight upwards, sending him into a stand position. He's eyes darted across the ground. A sharp bird like whistle flew through the air, the sound was sharp and loud but still at a soothing level. Koda's head turned towards the familiar sound.  In his line of vision was the boy he's known for years. The darker haired boy lifted his arm before waving it in the air. Koda smiled softly, of course it was Kaido.

He took a few steps forward before being met by Kaido. The scarred boy smiled, "Koda! What've you been up to? I've been so bored all day, its really quite lucky you showed up." Koda shifted his gaze to the his shoes before meeting the others grey eyes. He separated his lips about to speak but nothing could make it out. Kadio's face dropped slight, "You all right, Koda?"

Koda shook his head slightly before letting out a soft chuckle, "Yea of course, don't worry about me. Just got a lot on my noggin lately" A smile danced across his freckled scattered cheeks. "Hey, Kaido, there is something I want to show you- just if I had it" He brought his hand to the back of his neck, glancing to the side.

"Here me out," Koda laughed slightly. Just being around his childhood friend lightened his mood, finally someone who will listen to his idea. His eyes drifted from his storm colored eyes to his dull colored lips. He looked down once again tapping the toes of his shoes together, "I found a map of the borders- I don't necessarily have it now but, here me out" He broke out into a soft giggle, "There's life out there" He paused with a huge smile on his face, he looked up letting out a huff.

~Tina Yin~

16//Interactions: Kinda Koda and Kaido// Currently: Eavesdropping their conversation

Tina was walking towards town square when she saw Kaido and Koda talking together. The village was quite small in the border so most kids knew each other at least by name. But in Tina's case, her constant studying made her a bit less knowledgeable of faces. At first she was just going to walk past them until she heard the word "borders" escape from his mouth. She sort of stands in a small crevice between house/buildings to hear what they say.

The possibility of someone besides her thinking about leaving the borders was amazing to her. Maybe this was an opportunity to gather information and people and form a group. It seemed quite far fetched but their conversation was giving her a bit of hope.

Kaido//19//Interacting with: Koda, kind of Tina

Kaido concern melted away when he saw Koda crack a smile. He felt relieved. He never was really sure how to deal with sad people. The teen brushed some hair out of his face and smiled again, watching his childhood friend with interest.

Koda shook his head slightly before letting out a soft chuckle, "Yea of course, don't worry about me. Just got a lot on my noggin lately. Hey, Kaido, there is something I want to show you- just if I had it" His friend said, and Kaido stepped forward slightly with interest. "Hear me out," Koda said. "I found a map of the borders- I don't necessarily have it now but, hear me out" He broke out into a soft giggle, "There's life out there"

Kaido's eyebrows went up slightly, not in disbelief, but in curiosity. "Out there? You mean.. outside the borders?" Kaido said, lowering his voice so as not to catch the attention of any particularly nosy passerby. "What happened to the map?" Kaido asked, a hint of urgency behind his words. If his friend had lost it, that could be troublesome. Imagine if one of the elders found it! There would be a town questioning, and if anyone had seen Koda with the map he'd undoubtedly be questioned. Likely punished, as maps of the outside were entrusted to specific people.

Kaido ran a hand through his hair, letting it out of its ponytail to fall around his neck and face. "Koda, we need to find it... Thats pretty big. We especially need to find it before someone else does." Kaido stressed, his left hand subconsciously tracing the pockmarks on his face, as he did when he was thinking or anxious. Kaido stopped suddenly and turned around, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up. "I have the oddest feeling we're being watched... but no one's around..." Kaido mumbled, turning back to Koda.

Andy Miller//19//Interacting With: N/A

Andy sighed as she left the bakers shop, leaving through the back door. Her hands were scratched from the flour bags she had recently delivered, but it was nothing some ointment couldn't fix. Leaving her beaten up bike at the back of the shop, where it was safest, she made her way 'round front and to the town square.

She wasn't a shy girl, though she wasn't the friendliest either. As a result, people perceived her as stubborn and disagreeable. This meant she wasn't the most popular girl in town, and didn't have many friends. Not that she minded terribly. Most kids in this town she tended to avoid if she could. She was on good terms with some of the other delivery boys, but they were mostly considered acquaintances. A friendly nod here and there as they passed each other, but other than that, she mostly kept to herself.

As a child, her short hair, flat chest, and overall scruffy demeanor meant that most of the other children thought she was a boy. This was both good and bad. She had been included in most of the sports and games the boys had played, and was relatively shunned by the girls. Until they had gotten older, this wasn't a problem. In fact, some other teens in the town probably still thought she was a boy. Her voice was fairly androgynous, and her chest had stayed as flat as ever. She still kept her hair cut short in a shaggy boys cut. It was simpler, and she enjoyed that.

She could name most of the people in the town, but that was about it as relationships went. She looked around the town square. Koda and Kaido, two boys she knew from childhood, stood talking together in hushed tones, and she could see a girl hiding between some buildings, trying to listen to their conversation. She stopped and watched them for a moment, but ultimately decided that people could talk and eavesdrop as they pleased. It was no business of hers.

She made her way to a park bench and took a seat, taking out a small notebook from her hoodie pocket. She spread out on the bench so that no one could sit beside her. When she wrote in her notebook, she generally liked to be left alone. Taking up the bench was mostly her way of telling people to stay away. However, there was always someone who had a rather nasty habit of talking to her, all the while standing next to the bench.

Alice Wattson//16//Interactions: Willow

Alice was dumbfounded by the size of the house. It was massive. She guessed she'd get lost at least 10 times a day. She looked to Willow, shock evident on her face. "I-wow this is a big house." She fidgeted with her locket a bit, and then came to the realization that she didn't have any of her stuff. "Hey, uh, would you mind if I ran back to my house? I have some stuff I'd like to grab if that's alright. " She glanced towards the nearest window. The weather was still good, so it shouldn't take her that long.

(Sorry this is really short I'm having like a massive writer's block :(  )

Willow May Lynneson // 17 // Interacting With: Alice.

”Ah, sure!” Willow nodded at her friend. “Go ahead! I myself was going to go out and get you new outfits, and maybe even a plant to spruce up your room a little!” She had a little smirk. “I’m glad you’re with us now, but you probably already know that, right?” She looked at Alice, inquisitively. “Ah, I’m taking too much of your time. Go on, go on. Go have fun, okay? But we should probably be home soon, maybe by supper though, they’re making quesadillas today, and I love those! And I know you’re going to love em’ too. Anyways, goooo!” She giggled. (Wait gtg- I’ll finish in the morning-)

Antora || 22 || Interacting with: Eloria

As the blacksmith handed Antora the heavy package, the door to the shop opened and a new voice interrupted Antora's 'thank you's.'  She turned to look, and saw a young woman she recognized, but didn't know the name of.  Seeing her hesitation, Antora smiled and shuffled back, giving her space at the counter to pick up her order.  "Don't worry about it," she said, tucking her own package under her arm.  "I was just wrapping up!"

Peach noticed the stranger head into the shop, but was too busy sulking on the roof to truly pay attention.  She hated being left outside.  This place in particular had all sorts of cool noises inside and she wanted to see what was happening!  But she was left out here.  For now, Peach let herself be distracted pecking at a speck on the shop's roof.
