Gen 1. he will get atleast 1 moonlight marking and either Losna or Moonlight base. the other marks will get filled as well. shall i change eyes to something special too, or is that not worth it? and what shall i name him if he's my breeding male? i don't know how ,or where i'd need to advertise him once he's a public stud? Special eyes, from my experience, are kind of a hit-or-miss unless you get BO ones like het. Personally, I would keep the fox eyes, but if you find other eyes that you like I'd say go for those! I can't help you much with the names, since my personal naming conventions aren't really applicable. I'd suggest just choosing something that you like, and it's helpful for the name to be eye-catching. As for advertising, I'd suggest making a thread for him in the stud forums and bumping it every 40-50 minutes or so. It's also good to semi-regularly post an advertisement for him in sales chat. I try to post every ~10 minutes (when I can) so as to not violate spamming rules. I'd recommend looking at the format of other stud ads in sales chat to make your own. Using emoticons is a good way to make it a bit more eye-catching. You'd want to look at prices of studs around the same traits/value as yours to price him, and if you're trying to keep his lines rare then you'd want to price him a bit higher than these. With the marks he has/is going to have, and the base you plan to apply on him, I'd suggest a price of maybe 3GC/600SC and if he doesn't get enough studs then adjust it accordingly. Conversely, if he sells out at this price, you might want to think about raising it. |
