[Grouse House] Genetics & Heat Calculators (Base x Base Outcome Calculator!)

Posted 2022-01-30 17:50:50
If the wolf doesn't have a breeding cooldown listed if they've never been bred or if it's been a while since they've been bred, you'll just want to use the "Heat in __ rollovers" value. ^^ All the calculator does is basically just add that many rollovers to their current age.

For example:
This wolf doesn't have a breeding cooldown, but goes into heat in 5 rollovers, so I would put "5" as their breeding cooldown on the calculator.

This wolf of yours is on their last day of heat, and will then have 8 more rollovers before they're in heat again assuming they're not bred, so you would put "9" as their breeding cooldown on the calculator.

I hope that makes sense! I can see if I can clarify that a bit more on the page itself.

Thanks! Yeah, just trying to confirm what the day of her second to last heat will be.

Base Calculator does not work on Chrome or Edge for me (Javascript allowed). Works on Firefox and my android phone's Chrome app.

Do you have ad blockers enabled on your browsers? The ad blockers may be preventing it from loading ^^
I'm working on getting it into a spreadsheet again since I don't have the time to keep up with it how it currently is, so hopefully that will help a bit when I can get that set up.

No ad blockers on my phone, and I have them disabled on my PC.

Question:  Is there an ETA on when the calculator will work? ^^;

I'm hoping sometime this week, it shouldn't take too long as soon as I have some free time to work on it :) I'm currently working on organizing a spreadsheet for it since JS clearly isn't my strong suit XD

I've updated the main post with a link to a base calculator spreadsheet ^^ It's possible there's still some issues with it, so let me know if you notice anything, but it's available to start using by making a copy of the sheet!
