I send a request for someone else's stud male but later I realized that they hadn't logged in in a while so I cancelled it and now I don't have an option for that one specific wolf to breed her at all. Is there some kind of cooldown orr??

Which wolf did you send the request with? Did she come out of heat between the time you sent the request and canceled it?

Females have to be in heat in order for them to breed (the little fire icon by their name). They're in heat for 4 days, then off heat for 8 days. If you're looking at Usva, on her page it says "heat in 7 rollovers" so that's when you'll next be able to breed her, or you could use an elk heart (grove item) to put her in heat immediately.

Actually she did come out of heat! (And the specific wolf I'm talking about is her: #3112375)
