Show me your children! These are mine:8D4136FC-940F-4979-BC50-CACA97717124_1_201_a.jpeg

Clockwise from bottom left they're Jemison, Franklin, Cori, Curie, and Rubin! They're all ladies, all rescues, and all named after female scientists. Frankie and Curie are probably sisters, adopted together from a local shelter, and Cori is the mother of Ruby and Jemie, with the three of them being adopted after being saved from a hoarding case in the state. They are mostly skittish since none of them were really socialized well, but Frankie is very cuddly if you catch her while she's sleepy.

I love guinea pigs! I used to have one names Oreo because he had a mohawk that was black-white-black.

Now I own 3 cats.

This is our big boy Chase, he loves sleeping in the worse positions. Currently he weighs around 25 lbs, we are trying to get him to lose some weight.

Finally, this is Mino, we've only had her for a few months now. She is a 16 year old blind cat with kidney disease. We just wanted to give he the happiest home before she passes because she was stuck in a shelter for months before, after her owner died. But she has a lot of energy and despite being blind she wanders the house frequently.

I hope everyone's pets are doing well!

These are my chinchillas! Sterling on the bottom right is 6, Shine on the left is 5, and the little fella above them is Steve Furrington who is almost 2. Sterling is a good boy who always behaves, Shine is a meanie that likes to chomp fingers but I love him anyway lol, and Steve loves to be held and is super clingy.

Daenerys aka Dany: Currently almost 7 years old. We found her in a dumpster, on Valentine's Day in the pouring rain, when she was around 8 weeks old and she's been with us ever since. <3

Well!!! I absolutely will not be missing a chance to show off my kiddos!!

From left to right, these guys are Oscar, and his daughter, Pockets! I got Oscar about thirteen years ago, when he was a puppy! He's just as energetic now as he was then. Absolutely loves eating bugs haha. Pockets,,,, well. Oscar may have knocked up the neighbors' dog. Twice. Needless to say, he's neutered now, but god do I love having her here. She's like Oscar on steroids lol. She always has a ball with her--this picture in particular, I'm using it to hold her attention. Doesn't matter how many times you throw it, she will always have enough energy to get it

Next, these sisters are Ink and Sola! During my freshman year of high school, my friends were sleeping over. Around midnight, one of my friend's parents called. They had a group of kittens just plopped down on their porch, covered in fire ants. They had just finished cleaning them up, and they knew my family were the resident pick-up-every-animal-off-the-street family, so would you guys want them? I woke my parents up to ask immediately, and they were like "hecc yeah" and now it's been about six years and they're so sweet. Sort of. Ink's the feral cryptid of the neighborhood, but damn if she's not the cutest when she cuddles with my dad. Sola's absolutely huge. Absolutely dwarfs the dogs. There's got to be so much maine coon in her. She's the mama of our animals <3

Then this pair of sisters are Velvet and Raptor! They were sauntering down the street, saw me and my family in the garage, and waltzed right on in. No fear. Absolute confidence. Fascinating. There's no way these guys were feral. We ended up calling around, and turns out someone had just dumped them. After witnessing said event, one of our neighbors had been taking care of them for the past week, but couldn't keep them. So they let us take them on. No complaints here. Except from Ink. She and Velvet love terrorizing each other. And guys I'm currently away at college, but if I hear one more story about how Raptor's waiting for me outside my door, idk man I might just have to smuggle her here

Everyone has beautiful babies! Here are (some of) mine!

The Rats

We have too many fancy rats to list (breeding & showing them is mine and fiancé's hobby!) but these are some special ones:

Penny - she was born the size of a mouse and we didn't know if she'd make it but she's a trooper; she hung on in there and is now rat-sized! She's also incredibly people-oriented and soppy.

Teacake - Penny's aunty! She's a Russian Wheaten Velvet Dumbo and as you can see she pulls some ridiculous faces. Her coat is ridiculously soft and you may want to rub her on your face.

Pancake - my silly patchy Siamese boy. The only surviving male in his litter. He's a babe (but a rubbish Siamese, he likes to pretend to be Merle...)

(Baked) Alaska - HIIEEEEEEEEE. Our oldest girly, born in January 2018. Total sweetheart and great-grandma to our youngest lot...

Charcoal - sillyface Homozygous Self Tonkinese. The Tonks are a recently imported variety to the UK and we've only bred them for a couple of generations. I was desperate for Self-based (all our breeding adults are Agouti-based) and out popped Char. She's an idiot.

The Doggos

Russell (aka Russfox) - love of my life! He's a 13 year old Pembroke Corgi WITH A TAIL - he was one of the first generation born following the UK docking ban in 2007. I cannot say enough good things about him, he's amazing - and he's always smiling.

Kismet (Kizzy) - rescue Collie (X? maybe, who knows but she definitely behaves like a Collie) rehomed from Manchester Dogs Home in January 2013. Started out very reactive but with a lot of hard work she's 99% rehabbed and fine to play off lead with other dogs. She's my unofficial therapist and gives the best snuggles.

Tempie (10p) - we joke about her being worth 10p. 7 in October. She rules the roost, naturally. Do not let her innocent face fool you.

Daffadowndilly (Dilly) - the 'baby' of the family, although she's 4 in October :'( She's a Brindle Merle Cardigan Corgi from Cardiganshire! She's such a sweet girl, can be a bit shy/submissive with other dogs but she loves to do tricks and Canine Freestyle (possibly one of only 2 Cardis in the UK doing HTM/Freestyle!) Her first competition was meant to be this year but.. well.. pandemic..
