How do you get a mentor for your herbalist? I have Myst gaining proficiency point from my herbalist and I'm not sure if that is helping me get towards a mentor for him.

Young wolves only get the benefit of a Mentor when they are training as puppies. Once they get to be teens, they do their apprenticeship to gain proficiency. If you want Myst to be your next Herbalist, just have them do their apprenticeship with your current Herbalist every day until 1 year old. After that, a young wolf is expected to learn on their own and gain proficiency on the job. They don't get any more help.
