2 - Be sure you know which encounters lead to food. For instance, when you can follow a scent either North or West, North will get you a 1 use food item, while West will give you 2-6 uses of food. That stacks up pretty quickly. 3 - The fishing game. If the fish you submit is in the top 50% weight for its type, it will give you a piece of delicate meat. Only one use, but again, that can really stack up, especially as there is no limit to how much you can get in a day. 4 - If you can spare the SC, play slots. You can win muskox carcasses and food bundles. 5 - If you don't have the tundra scouted, get on that. It's got the best food encounters. I don't know if there are more food encounters in the tundra, but they definitely tend to give more uses. (You can get walrus pup carcasses with a whopping 16 uses by swimming with the seal!) |
