E. (I feel like any of the others is just going to be a fight, but an encounter with a dreamlands wolf has more potential...even though it might turn into a fight anyway.)

Hmm. I was going to choose C, but I agree with @Lionel's reasoning. E!

Seems like E is the winner but gosh darn it I want to see Swamp Shark… so i'm voting B.

Chapter 1 — Choice 7: Results (0A) (1B) (0C) (0D) (4E)
Interesting choices. I thought the eagle would gain more votes since Guidonis has a thing with birds. In case anyone was wondering, the shark or pelican would've triggered a battle whereas the eagle or alligator would've had their own distinct outcomes. The pherris vagabond was once again meant as a battle (since pherris are aggressive by wolvden lore) but I have a different idea now.

Chapter 1 [The Hunt] — Choice 8:

The creature stands taller than any wolf Guidonis has ever seen. It opens its maw to display piercing fangs, and the chaser hears more than one of his companions silence their breathing. The thing turns to face the wolves, its eyes eerily glowing and intelligent.

It glows, Guidonis thinks with a start. Its eyes are the same shade as his ghostly swallows' — so it doesn't surprise him as much as it should when the little birds circle the beast, chirping cheerfully.

The beast seems to chuckle, speaking to the birds in a feral language that Guidonis can't quite understand; then, it turns to the wolves.

Something convinces Guidonis to step forwards.

"Little Lord..." the creature says with its grating accent. "How you have grown... Do they treat you well?"

Guidonis freezes, fights the urge to look back at his friends. (Only they dare to call him Little Lord. What if it's more than a nickname?) Obviously, the wolf-beast is talking about them. It looks powerful in the shadows, but not necessarily hostile — almost like how Guidonis was at dawn earlier, watching the sunrise with only his swallows.

How does he respond?
A) fearfully — it's powerful, dangerous, and scarily familiar
B) hesitantly confident (with a healthy dose of suspicion) — this creature will not harm him, but what does it want?
C) honestly and cordially — his instincts are screaming that this creature is a friend; the swallows seem to agree
D) [insert your own answer here]

C. I feel like the pherris vagabond might respond the best if Guidonis treats him like an equal with respect!

D. boastfully and confidently - don't show him any weakness!

D. Fairly confidently but politely and warily, we don't want the Pherris Vagabond to think we mistrust it but we have to be friendly too. If the vote is tied/uncertain, my second choice would be B, which is very similar to my reponse.

C might be the best bet, like Kantee said, we should treat the Vagabond with respect!
