Why do I keep losing SC for creating trades?

Hello! I'm quite a newbie and haven't learned everything about the game yet. This is my first time writing something in the chatter and I hope I'm doing this right, hehe...

I can't seem to find an answer to one thing, and that is why do I lose SC for creating trades? I've been creating quite a few trades now and every trade I create I seem to lose the sum of SC that I ask for in the trade. When someone buys the trade, I get the SC but it's like I haven't earned anything.

For example, I created a trade where I want to sell a wolf puppy. I put a 10 SC price on the puppy and I lose that 10 SC. When someone buys the puppy, I get 10 SC back but nothing extra, so I have the same amount of SC as I did creating the trade. This means I basically lose the puppy and gain nothing in return. Why is this? Have I created too many trades in one day? Are there certain things that you lose SC for trading? I can't find clear answers to this. If there is an amount for how many trades one can create a day, I'd like to know. Thank you!

You should not be losing SC for creating trades, unless you are putting SC in the trade contents area.

Perhaps you have been typing in the SC in the wrong area? There is buyout options, and there is trade contents where you could set a price and in trade contents, offer currency.
