Can't give Jellyfish to Wolf

I tried to give my wolf baldur a jellyfish when he was 6yrs 9 months and I couldn't? he's now fast approaching 7 and I don't want to lose him as he was the first ever lavender albino on the site and I'm proud of breeding him.

He isn't in a pair bond (never has been)

Was unsecured when I tried to jellyfish him

Doesn't have a pack role I.e. isn't busy

I believe its because they were bred four days ago, the game still views them as weaning puppies despite not doing that any longer (I'm guessing your chased the puppies?). pups are considered under the mothers care for 5 days, on the 6th they wean. so you'll need to wait until the 6th day to be able to immortalise.

somebody else had this issue prior for the same reason, due to the puppies being chased & no longer existing, but the wolf is still seen as 'weaning' the puppies to the game. they bugboxed it & it was fixed.

that being said, you will be safe to wait for another 2 days. wolves only start to die of old age at 7yr6m!

oh! Well that super sucks, I wish it said ON the item description that wolves aren't eligible even if pups are chased, otherwise I wouldn't have bred since I wanted to immortal on a specific date. Thanks for letting me know all the same!
