Felix jumped up and ran to Colton " Its your mother... s-something wrong... between Ruby and Onyx.... I.. I cant do anything.." he sounded desperate for help. In truth.. he was. 

" You have to do something, Colt.. please. if I lose your mother.. I dont know what i will do" he eyed Colton and his eyes flared Orange.  he wasnt gonna stop at nothing to get his wife back. " Do something now" Felix ordered

"Felix, breathe. I'm coming." Colton was calm, as a good healer was in any situation. He followed Felix back to me and closed his eyes. He felt a dark aura, but it wasn't Crow. It was someone else. Someone that usually never came after werewolves. "I've never seen this before. The Widow after a werewolf. Strange." Colton mumbled. He searched for a small spider anywhere on my scalp, but didn't find anything. 

Then he searched the inside of my mind. "Gotcha." He grabbed the small eight-legged creature and pulled. It didn't budge.

Felix just sat there eying Ruby. Worried.  The hell is taking so long Colton  he tried to stay calm but he lost control and Orion took over, like he always did when Felix was overheating.

 I'll be back Colton..  If not... you know where I'll be.  and with that Orion headed out the door and into the farthest reaches of the territory. He had to calm Felix down before going back. 

 You could have hurt both of them, Felix.. have you gone crazy?

I... I dont know... it must have happened during the honey moon... I dont...know  Felix stammered back 

 get back there now, Felix, Ruby needs you so much right now. I dont want her to think you left her and the unborn kids. 

Felix had to obey him. And he did. he came back to the house but stayed in his wolf form. He whined as his head layed on her belly

"I think I'm gonna need to call for some help. Someone who knows more avout this and can remove that damn spider. When I try, I can't get it to unhitch." Colton growled. "Felix, you did nothing wrong. The healing witches you met, they must have been tracked by a woman named Widow and saw you and mom as a threat. Not the witches, but Widow. Did you ever get their number at all? The one mom knew is gone." He paused. "I don't believe you have one. If you did, you'd be in this state too by now. She must have seen mom as a weakness to you, which is why the old hag had only put a spider in mom and not you."

Felix growled in the wolf form for being so damn foolish  uh... I'm.. not sure if I do or not, colt. I would have to  look in my phone and the notes I took during the trip... " he began " g-give me a few minutes to look for it

 He eyed Colt before standing up on his four paws and looked in the bag for is notes.  Once her  grabbed it in his jaw, he shifted to human form and looked through it carefully " Hm..  Ah.. here it is. " He should Colton the info he got, which wasnt much, but it would have to do for the time being. " I cant leave her, Colton.. I just cant. Ive been with her for too long to leave her now. Especially with the littles on the way"

"I'm not asking you to leave her. I'm going to have my scouts find them. You and i are staying here and keeping her stable. If I keep a hold on the pest, it won't go deeper." Colton hissed, struggling to keep his hold. Willow, gather all the scouts and bring them to the cabin. I have a job for you to do. And it needs to be done as quick as possible. Colton linked his lead scout. And grab our medic too. We are gonna have to switch off. I can't do this alone. His voice sounded strained.

Felix took a deep breath in and released it slowly " why... just why would she do it to my wife... is it because shes with child or..." he blurted out possible ideas for ten straight minutes when  they finally came tot he house. 

He  never got up from where he was stationed, right at Ruby's head. " I'm trusting you and the others to help her, Colton." His eyes flashed Orange as an alpha in change. " I wont risk loosing her or the kids. Not now."

Colton explained to him that werewolves usually never delt with Widow. Ever. He was just as confused as Felix was with why she was targeting me. "Felix, they won't let you down and I don't plan to either. Mom's life is on the line, at least that's how it feels. I'm not playing games." He snarled. He eyes darted to his scouts.

Willow was the one in front. The leader. Her dredlocks pulled back in a pony and her fangs showing. "Whatcha got, Alpha?" She looked from her own Alpha and Felix, knowing very well Colton couldn't tell her the information her and her unders needed. Their medic stayed by Colton's side, just in case he needed a break. He was ready to slip in and take over for him, not breaking the hold Colton had on the little pest digging at the surface of my brain.

" Just get that thing out of her." Felix snarled the order  " I'm going out. Link  if you need me"

he past them before walking tot he door. He opened it and left. Not meaning to slam it. He walked to their favorite secret place and sat there, thinking. All he thought about was him loosing his  only wife he would ever love. " damn it!" he snarled. There was nothing he could do in his power to bring her back, at least right now.   Oh Ruby... im so sorry... Dont give up.. I dont want to loose you.  He linked to her as best he could. but all the while, tearing up.

You won't lose either of us, Felix. Onyx told him with confidence. She whined from the pain. She isn't letting the voice taunt her, which is good. Though, she is becoming weaker in her dreams she's been having. 

While Onyx was speaking to Felix, I was trapped in my own mind. I ran and I ran, but I wasn't going anywhere. I was panicking in my own mind and it started showing on my actual person. I tossed and turned, whining and making it difficult for Colton and his medic to keep me steady and keep a hold on the digging spider.

Dad, I need you here, now. Mom is stuggling. I need you to try and calm her down. Colton linked, panicked and struggling. He didn't realize he used the word 'dad' with Felix, but it felt right to him.
