Orion was still in control but it was Felix who kept talking about strategies and tactics " We have to win this war.  We just... have to he whined. He could feel Orion pin his ears back and it made Felix stronger. "does everyone understand what im trying to aim for here? His wolf form looked at everyone, who nodded.  Good. then meeting is over.

 he shifted into human form before  letting ruby know he was on his way back home, but with Tyne and the other male behind him. By the time the three of them reached the house, Felix eyed the males " thank you. if you want to come in and chat inside, you are free to  do so"

"Our mate is inside, so we should probably come in." Meraki grinned. Felix looked at him with raised brows. "It's...a long story..."

Tyne shook his head, "It actually isn't long at all. Ember just has two mates at one time. It's strange, yes, but none of us care. We all respect each other. Meraki and I take turns with her."

"Dude, he didn't need to know that!" Meraki snarled.

Akiva heard the semi-shouting and stepped out from the cabin. I was fast asleep, sitting up on the couch. Her blonde hair fell to her chest and her bright blue eyes glared at her mates. "You're gonna wake Ruby up. Keep it down, will you?" She eyed Felix. "Lovely to meet my twins second chance." She grinned softly.

"Tyne.. its alright. I just wasnt expecting a female-" but he stopped when  Jade came outside.

" Hi. And thanks. I dont know what I would do with out her. She's all I have left." Felix grinned back " To many memories to loose with that woman " he chuckled " now come on in.. and make yourself at home. 

He let them inside quietly and Felix carefully went to the couch and sat facing Ruby, tracing a finger against her jawline with a smile on his face. "I love you baby girl" he kissed her nose before turning his attention to the twin and the boys. 

"A female what?" Tyne chuckled. "Meraki and I aren't a thing. Just close friends and well...we mate with the same girl." He scratched the back of his head as he whispered.

Akiva glared at him, "Drop it." She growled low. She turned to Felix and smiled at how he acted with me. "You really do love her, don't you."

" I would do anything for her, Jade... even if it kills me to save someone I love so much" Felix said with a sigh " I cant loose her like I lost my first. So she promised me  she would stay here"

" I'll explain it later Tyne... " Felix eyed him as he rolled his eyes " Maybe in private "

He chuckled before eyeing his wife " Shes carrying my child, Jade.  I cant   let her get hurt. Promise me you will stay here with her, while  I am with the rest of the pack fighting the war"

"I will stay with her. And I promise she will be safe and not leave." Akiva smiled with a yawn. "I am exhausted, so if you don't mind, im gonna get some sleep." She strerched and let her lion/wolf take over. She laid next to the couch and fell asleep.

Tyne eyed Felix, "Alright." He looked to Meraki and then to Akiva. He nodded and shifted to his wolf form. Meraki snuggled with Akiva's lion/wolf, but kept an ear out.

" What I was trying to say before your mate came out was that I never heard of a female with two mates. its odd... but I cant say anything or id get my ass kicked " he chuckled " How do you two even deal with it.. I mean..  other than sharing "not that im gonna even get there...dont really have a plan either. I think one mate is enough"

Felix didnt even know why he was saying this, but he  didnt know what else to say. He eyed the three of them in turn before yawning as well. " I guess its time for some sleep huh?" he chuckled. But he would sleep that night. He would be the guard dog till they were rested enough to take a shift.

"It can get complicated sometimes, but we make it work. It really is odd. And isn't heard of ever, but for some reason she ended up getting the both of us. We deal with everything as a team, except for mating. Meraki and I take turns every other month." Tyne chuckled softly. "Sorry, I'll stop." He yawned. "You can rest. I can stay up. I don't sleep often either when threats are around. Just how I've been trained."

" If you insist, Tyne.. then ill go sleep" Felix said kissing ruby's cheek before standing up " The two of you are gonna be needed in this war. So just be ready."

He eyed the guests one last time before slowly making his way to his bedroom and slid himself under the warm covers. He wanted Ruby there with him, but it would be a few weeks before that would take place again. 

Wild dreams popped into his head and he could feel Orion whining

 shush it Orion. The war isnt for a few more months. so chill ok?

 After the argument with Orion, Felix shut his eyes and fell asleep. Not know what the next day would bring.

Morning came and Tyne was wide awake. He wasn't one to sleep when dangers were around, even if they were faint. Meraki ended up waking in the middle of the night and stayed up with him, chatting and playing some quiet card games. Akiva stirred with a whine. Tyne panicked and went to check on her, while Meraki watched over me.

I woke on my own and noticed Meraki staring at me calmly. "Yes?" I chuckled. 

His eyes darted down, "N--nothing. You just are a spitting image of Ember. I can't get over her having a twin. Sorry." He scratched the back of his head. He turned to Tyne, "Is she okay?"

He gave a sharp nod, "Just a bad dream. Memories." Was all he said.

Meraki whined, "I have those dreams too...they aren't pleasent." His words were directed towards me.

"Oh? What are they about?"

"My time in the Nest. She had a worse time there than I did..."

I was about to say something when I heard footsteps come down the stairs. It was Felix and Gaelan, both still half asleep.
