" Do you really think I'm going to let the same thing happen to you, Ruby?" Felix said turning his head so his gold eyes were on her " No. Im not. So im pleading you.. begging you to stay home, when I face Crow with the others that imma  set up to stand beside me. Gaelan will have to stay here if he wants. But im  not letting you come with us." His hand grazed her jawline before leaning in to kiss her "  I love you too much to even risk loosing you."

"Then I won't. As much as I know I'll be able to help, I won't follow you. I just don't want you dying on me. Okay? I am thankful you won't be going alone. I'm sure Gaelan would follow you in a heart beat. He is a war vet after all. And he isn't fond of Crow and his men. None of our kind are." I mentioned. "And I'm sure I know of a few different species that would be willing to help too. You will have an army behind you, Felix. I will make sure of that. I will be your general that stays home." I chuckled softly with a smile.

"if you werent pregnant with my kin, I would have you beside me... but right now.. I think its too late for that" Felix said  with a chuckle " but I will have everyone I can think of behind me. I will be the Alpha. Crow cant have my family. Something I worked so hard for to get."

"I understand, meus rex." I made his get closer so I could kiss him on the cheek. "And it is too late for that, isn't it..." I chuckled.

Gaelan popped his head in the living room, "I will stand behind you, Felix. Cerberus and I are ready to get back at him." He offered.

Felix smiled as he scooted his way into the couch alongside Ruby and nipped her jawline before looking at Gaelan " Thank you Gaelan. I will need everyone you can think of to help prepare."

 " And yes, Ruby... its way too late." Felix chuckled with a smirk " You feeling any better?" he asked stroked her belly and then up to her collarbone and then behind her ear. " i'll make sure you have someone here with you so you arent alone"

"I appreciate that, sweetie. And I'm feeling the same since yesterday. Gaelan helped me sit up, so my back doesn't hurt me as much. I am sure all the kids will help fight along side you as well. And their packs." I thought, trying to think of others to help. We had some time before Felix had a plan of attack, or so I thought.

Felix took a deep breath in before releasing it " I dont know when im headed out with the pack, Ruby. It may be sooner than planned. But I promise you that no one will die. It would be my fault and guilt if anyone did. " he kissed ruby's lips with a slight smile 

He wrapped his arms around her before looking at Gaelan " Do you have anyone in mind that would be willing to stay with Ruby while I set up a team for this war?" he asked looking at him  with his Golden eyes. 

"I'd have to think of some old pack mates that wouldn't mind staying with her." Gaelan mentioned, thinking hard. 

I sighed, "I understand, Felix. Just understand this...Crow's army isn't just Hawkers and Falconers anymore. It's the mixed DNA were's as well. The ones that stayed that is and couldn't leave from his nest. The ones that had a close eye kept on them at all times." I warned.

"What about Tyne?" Gaelan exclaimed. "He may be a Falconer, but he is the most loyal person I've met. And, he hates Crow. So it's a win win."

(Yeah, I have a spy xD and Iove him so much!)

Felix eyed Gaelan " I dont know, Gaelan. I'm still unfamiliar with those groups. But I will talk with everyone once they have agreed to join me against Crow" Felix sighed eyeing Gaelan wearily " If Tyne is who you say he is, he might be our hidden secret within the war I am getting set up. " Having someone from crow's teams, even if he hates him, will be risky, but war isnt all fun and games. And im willing to take the risk. No matter what. "

"Crow know's Tyne was a spy. After he left his hunting crew, he stayed with Ember and never went back. He despised what Crow has been doing for centuries, so he worked decided to work with a werewolf named Meraki that was trapped there and helped all the weres get out safely." Gaelan explained. I nodded.
