Nadia who had been telling her mother all about the trip so far heard the new girl come in and call out so she decided to put down her phone and greet the new person. Opening her door and poking her head out she replied, " hello, there are two other free rooms in this cabin, feel free to drop your things in one of them." While saying that Nadia realized that in just one day she had interacted with her fellow students more than in the past month or so, this thought made her fidget with the door knob. "I don't know when the teacher is going to call us, but I think you have time to put all your things away, do ask if you need any help." |

Violet flinched at the voice sounding from the front room, and decided to open her door a crack. Peeking her head out just so Nadia and the new girl could see, she muttered a "Hello" before slipping back into her room. Violet let out a shaky breath. She'd always been horrible at interacting with people, but it was never this bad. Taking a few deep breaths, she waited until the wild trembling in her hands calmed and grew still. |

The brunette perked up at the girl's words, a friendly smile finding its way to her lips. "Great! Thanks so much," she responds, stepping fully into the cabin and closing the door behind her. Socializing was no big deal for her, it was almost like second-nature, but she was a little winded from the trek to to the cabins so a little bit of alone time to unpack her things sounded nice. "Of course, I appreciate the offer!" She beams. Before she can introduce herself properly, a door opens and another girl peeks out, uttering a quiet greeting before closing the door again. Well, okay. It didn't phase her for long, though, nor did she think badly of her mysterious roommate. She was probably just shy -- something Nora felt sympathetic for. Simply shrugging it off, she turns back to Nadia. "My name is Nora, by the way! Hopefully we can get to know each other over the next month." |

Nadia looked from where Violet had disappeared to the new girl. "Ah, yes, same...My name is Nadia, nice to meet you." shifting her weight from one foot to the other in nervousness she continued, "I'll let you go put your things down, I'll be in my room if you need me. The teacher will surely call upon us soon." Saying that she gave an awkward wave and closed the door, she took a deep breath and sat down in her bed. |

Well, that seemed to be it as far as introductions went. It was kind of lackluster, but she wouldn't let it get her down -- she would do her best to try and urge her roommates out of their shell! For now, Nora would focus on getting her things put away, otherwise she might not get another chance until tomorrow. Who knew how long they would be doing activities today. Picking out one of the empty rooms, she slipped her pack off her back and set it down on the floor with a grunt, happy to be free of the extra weight. Rather than unpacking right away, she took a quick moment to look around her new living space, studying the oak dresser and the freshly-made sheets on the bed, a small smile on her face and a low humming filling the room as she got to work getting her things sorted. Besides plenty of clothes, the girl hadn't brought much with her, save for a few of her favorite books and then some others she hadn't gotten the chance to read yet. Hopefully there would be some time to get to them later, whenever their school wasn't keeping them busy with excursions and games. |

With out even knowing Maith had just doomed himself. If there was one thing you didn't say to Damien it was that you weren't interested in making friends, Damien didn't believe that anyone didn't want friends and as of right now, he made it a point to do everything he could to befriend Maith, so he simply chuckled softly. "Come on now, I don't believe that, everyone needs to have at least one friend" he said with a smile. ------- Luna gulped as she approached the cabin where Headmaster Sinclaire was residing and slowly approached the door, it was open and she stopped at the entry "Miss Sinclaire? I.....I have something I need to talk to you about" she said, though she could not quite hide her nervousness |

((I'll just act as the headmasters for now!!)) Sinclaire looked up from her drawers, hearing one of her students come in. "Miss Matthews," She said formally. "Why have you come to my cabin?" She noticed the girl was fidgeting and seemed nervous, which wasn't a very good sign. "Did something happen? Speak, Luna. Don't dawdle." |

Luna gulped and took a deep breath, "sort off. You know I would never dream of breaking the rules intentionally but....when I opened my backpack I discovered my Chihuahua Luka had snuck into it. I left him in my cabin, I never intended to bring him along I swear, if I had known he was in there I would have made sure to leave him at home. I texted my parents and they would be willing to come pick him up. You can punish me for this however you like just.....please don't hurt Luka!" she explained, her words honest but nervous as well |

Rage flickered in Sinclaire's blue-grey eyes. "Your dog is here?" She said, hands on her hips. "I believe I said pets weren't allowed here. Were you absent the day I went over camp rules?" She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "You say your parents are willing to pick him up. Then tell them to come as soon as possible. I may be letting you off this time, but next time I won't be so nice!" She crossed her arms and raised a sharp eyebrow. "Do you understand, miss Matthews?" |

Once Veles had returned, the male had FINALLY ditched the jacket in lieu of tying it around his waist. Thankfully, he was at least wearing a short-sleeved short under it instead of a long-sleeved one it seemed. He bounced on his heels as he exited the room and shut the door behind him. " Alright now that the boring parts out of the way, we can focus on what we're gonna do for the fun part of everything. " he clapped his hands together and grinned. Grayson was by no means free yet, but at least he didn't demand Grayson do anything. He slowly moved so that he could sit on the armrest of a small chair in the cabin, giving his legs some rest. Sure they were built for all the walking and running, being a part of the track team and all, but he'd need all the energy he can muster up for the camp events later. " So Grayson tell me.. what's your favorite part about the camping trip? What part are you looking forward to the most? I dunno, you kinda strike me as a swimming guy but I could be wrong. " ----------------------------- Maith hesitated, seemingly flustered and confused by the situation. At a loss for immediate words, he opened his mouth to spout out a retort before immediately closing it. Why was this guy so determined to speak with him? Had he not made his disinterest obvious enough even with his bluntness? If they had shared classes in the past why now of all times anyway? Maith longingly cast his gaze to the outside people. Perhaps it was because he was the only one Damien could pick on at the current moment. Surely if someone new came waltzing inside he'd be set free from his clutches and he could retreat to the back room until the end of the camping trip. That would be preferred anyway, but he knew he likely had no choice but to get dragged out for all the activities. Finally gathering the words to respond, Maith finally grumbled back a not-so-great answer to Damien. " I didn't say that I didn't have friends, just that I'm not interested in being friends. I have plenty of them just.. not here. " His arms still remained crossed as he gently kicked at the ground praying for a diversion of some sort. Part of him had the mind to simply turn heel and retreat to his room- but some force of nature kept him rooted to the spot he stood. Perhaps it was his pride not allowing himself to back down from a challenge.
