Enclave Quest rewards

Am I missing something?

Today I sold at least 3 different pups on TC that got deleted immediatly after, making me suspect they were used to fulfill Enclave quests.

But all 3 of them had prices way over 25 SC, that is currently the reward you get from completing an Enclave quest, so I'm wondering if I missed something from the Update post that would explain why people would spend 70 SC just to earn back 25...

I would understand if we already had the special currency that was announced, but right now it seems to me like a waste of SC and I'm confused. The only reason I see to want to complete the quests so badly to waste SC away is for the achievements, but they don't give you anything as reward. Or not?

I raised my pups prices a bit exactly to avoid my best looking pups to be used as fodder for the quests so I was a bit surprised. I don't want to raise them even more.

I'm not criticizing the users that buy pups for the quests, after all I'm still earning SC, but can anyone help me understand?

Their's no real reason / benefit to it as earning something. But people buy pups 'cheap' for the purpose of chasing as a pup sink so it's not really that uncommon of an occurence even though it is weird.

As you said, their is the Achievement and that's the only real reward to it

There are also the Enclave achievements to be considered. Even without reward at the moment, I think folks have been willing to overpay for achievement progress.

Okay. I didn't think there were so many players after achievements! XD

At least I know I'm not missing something important.

I'm gonna raise my price even more, hoping to see my pups stay on the market for people to buy and keep and I will maybe add a note about please not using them as fodder.
