[Pup Auction] The Whispering Tree

Snow was coming. The sky was a thick, lifeless gray and the air smelled of stale water and the dying undergrowth. Winter's taste was dull and numbing; it filled the senses with the knowledge that the temperatures bitter touch would chill the flesh. Night had fallen long ago; darkness was known to cloud the mind with hazy shadows born of moonlight. No whispered prayer could stop the torment that came with the restlessness of the slumbering abyss. The rustling of decaying leaves among the falling snow broke the silence of the seemingly abandoned forest. A lonely tree's branches creaked in the wind, swaying back and forth as if a playful spirit accompanied its skeletal presence. You sit beneath the barren skeleton of the tree. A few weeks ago, the tree would have been beautiful with the colorful leaves of Fall, but now its spindly branches stretched out to the blackened sky in a threadbare mockery of the splendor they used to be. A sparkle floated in the gloom; the glimmer of eyes reflecting the dim light that filtered down through the tree's fingers. Whispers spilled forth from all around you and you watch with wide eyes as puppies of all sizes seem to materialize before your very eyes. One of the biggest pups steps closer, and you can't but help to wonder if his paws truly touched the ground. "Welcome to the Whispering Tree," he greets you. His voice was silk, purring with politeness. "We are an auction house for the unneeded pups from the Cursed Asterism pack. Maybe you'll find someone worth saving today if you take a look at those that are more than willing to find a home within your pack..."

*Warning! Do not steal my story - it was handwritten by me for an actual story I wrote! I just thought it worked well for this!*

What You Need To Know:

1. I am planning on strictly clean breeding, meaning that majority of my pups will be going to auction. This also means that I guarantee that all pups available are clean.

By the off chance a pup is not clean, I will guarantee to state so on their information!

2. All starting bids will be 10 SC unless otherwise stated.

3. All increasing bids must be in increments of 5. What this means is: 5 SC, 10 SC, 15 SC, etc..

The only exception to this rule is with GC. GC bids can be anything.

4. I consider 1 GC = 75 SC currently. This may change in time, but as of right now, this appears to be the average conversion in the trading center.

5. I accept bids of mixed currency or converted bids from one currency to the other. This is also true for time of payment, I do not mind if you pay me with one currency or another, as long as it equals out to be the amount due.

6. Each action will end on the 5th rollover for each pup after being posted up for auction.

The only exception to this rule is with auto-buys. If the pup is already weaned and you auto-buy the pup, they will be sent to you that day.

7. Once the auction was closed for that pup, I will set up a private trade. This private trade must be completed within 48hrs or you'll lose out on the pup and be restricted from participating in any further auctions. If this happens, the previous bidder will be messaged to see if they are still interested in said pup. If the previous bidder is no longer interested, the pup will be posted on the trading center.

Will You Accept Items?

In short, yes I will, but as of right now there are only a few items that I will accept as bids.

All Grove Items = Worth their price in GC

Healing Salve = 30 SC

Rich Healing Salve = 1 GC (or the SC equivalent)

Lucky Foot = 30 SC

Nesting Material = 50 SC

You may see if I will accept an item as a bid, and if accepted, I will inform you of what I personally feel that it's worth. I usually go by the lowest priced item in the trading center (but only if there are multiple listings with that price).

What if I Want to Back out?

If you wish to back out of a bid, you must notify me as soon as possible. You will be deemed an unreliable bidder, and you will be disqualified from any purchases in week's auction. Bidding will open for the unreliable bidder once the next update occurs. If I notice you abusing this rule, you will be banned permanently from my auction.
