Mountain Meets [READ BUT DON’T RESPOND]

“I- o h.” Aer had a wide eyed look on his face as he stood stunned for a moment. Solun sighed before knocking his friend over in the direction of the rather flirtatious wolf. 

“If I have to hear you complain on the way home about not getting it on with the cute wolf from Lunaris, I will feed you to the lake. Now, go flirt ya ugly cod fish!”

”I’ll kill you first!” Aer stuck his tongue out at Solun, which the yellow pelted male returned. 

Skye's eyes Snowfur for approval. Snowfur nods slightly, and Skye prances toward where Snowflake and Aer had wandered off to. 

A blue-tinted wolf wanders towards Snowfur to mutter something in her ear. Snowfur nods in agreement.

"Yes, mhm. Yes, please keep an eye on Skye. I don't think she needs more grief."

The blue-tinted wolf bows his head slightly at her command and trots to the three wolves chatting.

"Now, dear leaders, where were we?"

Snowflake trots off to a den area where a russet female is sitting. Her head is down until she hears the wolves approach. She raises her head and stares at the three. 

"Hello, Rani. I would like to introduce a few new friends. This is Aer and this is Skye." Snowflake looks to the wolves next to him and smiles. 

"Hello. Welcome. I'm the seeker here. Anaki and Selene wish you the best of times." Rani woofs quietly. She smiles at her mate. "You have fun. The pups are asleep. Me and Casi might go for a run later. We want to see if Raine or Borok will contact us." She lays her head back down and Snowflake wonders over to give her ears a few licks. He turns to the two other wolves behind him. 

"Shall we?"

Luka stares intently at the young female in front of her. She's not too young. Luka smiles when Snowfur looks in her direction. 

"It is very nice of you to join us. I was wondering if you, Snowfur, would like to go for a run? I know some very interesting places in the Mountains I could show you. I think it would be fun, to say the least. Besides, you could learn a little more about our clan history and maybe I could learn more about yours. Allegiances are stronger when the Packs know each other better." 

Luka smiles and tilts her head, her tail wagging. Sibella, Luka's mate, stands up and walks towards Snowfur. She comes close so that only Snowfur can here. "Best to not keep the Prima waiting. Take it from someone who has experience. I can watch your pack and I'm sure Sadi can help me."

“I’m not quite sure, but I do believe that wolf, Snowflake I believe, said something about discussing our packs and heritage?” 

Solun sat down, his paws closer together than usual. He seemed...uneasy. 

“If I may, my pack, The Mountain Sound Clan, was formed for abandoned pups and wolves. We will gladly take in anyone who does now have a home yet, so long as our territory can support them. I hope we won’t have any issues with other..surrounding packs.”

Refried Beans entered the camp, looking rather exhausted. She still had Fallen following her, asking various questions about wolves she had yet to me. Beans was used to these questions, answering them to the best of her abilities. The other two pups, Lynx and Robin, were with Ros, the adoptive mother of most of the pups in the pack. She had offered to show them all around the camp. Beans was still worried and made sure to keep an eye on the large group from wherever she was. No use losing a pup at a meeting. 

Luka smirks. She looks at Solun. 

"I would not worry about the other packs. The last time one of their members tried to reach these parts of the mountains, the shadows chased them off the cliff. We are well protected. Me and Sibella have Patrols that circle around the Mountain. They will howl if something comes to harm us." 

Her smile seems to calm the other wolf down, though he still seems nervous. 

"Ah. No thank you. I'm afraid I already have a mate." Snowfur bows her head politely. "Thawe would not approve, unfortunately."

At the mention of Thawe, Snowfur looked nervously around at the rest of the wolves at the meeting. A young wolf, who looked suspiciously familiar, was herding what seemed to be denmates. Snowflake tilted her head confusedly. It must be her mind playing tricks.

Skye had accepted her tragic fate ages ago. Being hopelessly head over heels with a breeding male (another clan's breeding male for that matter), Thawe had already cursed her. She was resigned to following where he led as she followed Snowflake and another wolf to a secluded den.

"Skye!"

Skye turned around at the sound of her name. Sadi was a few feet behind them. In a panic, Skye bounded towards him.

"What the hell? Did Snowfur send you after me?"

"She knows her history with this male. Thawe and Leukos would outcast you for this kind of behaviour!" Sadi scolded.

"Thawe and Leukos have not yet struck me dead. I shall do what I want."

"Is this what you want your bloodline to be known for?"

"I am not having this discussion here."

Sadi growled. "Well, your loyalties are to Kugeru and Snowfur has ordered you back to the main group. Come."

Sadi nips at her so she follows him back to the crowds.

Luka notices the nervousness in Snowfur's stance and sits up, the pup between her paws falling slightly. Isabella looks up at her. 

"Why did you sit up mommy?"

Luka smiles and licks the pup's head before gently pushing her daughter onto her feet. 

"Stand, Love. Why don't you run along and see if Flair is telling any stories, hm?" 

The pup runs off in the direction of another den, the leaders watching in amused silence. 

"No need to be afraid. All Gods are welcome here. I'm sure Selene will not mind Thawe's laws. And I will be of no disrespect to your decision." The black and white wolf stands up and walks towards the entrance, only stopping for a short time next to the other female. "Just be careful. The Shadows tend to bite sometimes." 

And with that, the Lunaris Night Prima stalks out, her tail swishing majestically behind her.

"Sadi is right, Skye. If your gods do not approve, then you should go." Snowflake smiles at the female. The female only nods and lets out a huff in annoyance before following the Alpha Male. 

Before they make it out, they're stopped by two figures. One is a pale blue and white, with gray female and the other is brown with red highlights and yellow paws. The two look at the other wolves and take in the scene. The gray female drops low and growls, sensing her pack mates sadness. 

"Down, Blade. Do not be rude. Selene would not approve of your disrespectful manner towards our guests." The brown female gently nudges the other wolf, causing Blade to huff. But she says nothing. 

"You should be loyal to us as well. All wolves are welcome, but if you do not trust us to mingle, then you are being disrespectful to our ways and our gods. Selene says all wolves should walk as one. Would you say your gods disagree?" Blade snarks. 

The other female growls a final warning, to which Blade nips and stalks away deeper into the cave. The brown female turns to Sadi and bows. "I'm sorry for my packmate. She is not used to other wolves being in the pack. I am Casi." 

The male nods and tries to move around Casi, but she blocks him easily. Her eyes glow a light red, lighting up the room just slightly. 

"Young Male, welcome. I am Anaki, demon of Death. God that walks along the shores and amongst the Souls. I see that our packs are mingling and I'm curious about the gods I hear spoken of. Tonight will bring chaos and peace, secrets will be revealed and wolves will be harmed. I wonder. What will your gods do in a home that is not theirs?"

The brown wolf laughs, a voice darker than before. 

"Tell your gods to respect my Mates ways. Selene thinks it only fit that your wolves mingle with ours. The same goes for Solun's pack. Though I think he has that covered. You, may respect the way of your gods. But know, that here. In our Mountain Den, they are not superior. We do not ask that your wolves be pressured or harmed, that they be disrespected or callous. We expect they follow our traditions. Losen up and enjoy the night. Howl along by the campfire that Borok built with his paws. Sing to your gods and show them that you are proud to be theirs. This is a night of celebration. It is not a time for formality and strict rules. The way of your kind is fine at home, but here. Here we are free. If you do not follow the orders of my Mate, Selene, Wolfess of the Moon, Night, and Pack, then I, personally, will make sure wolves will be hurt. Let your wolves live free. Celebrate you. Let the gods have the night of freedom, we know they so crave." 

The brown wolf's eyes go back to their normal color, and she stalks off as if nothing happened. 

[Ok. technically I didn't use a god. I used a wolf to get to the gods. and Anaki isn't really threatening, they just don't want Selene to be mad. Its night time. Selene likes to party. And Anaki wants to see his wife happy. So yeah. She's just tryin to get the others to lighten up.]
