Mountain Meets [READ BUT DON’T RESPOND]

“I am Solun. Pleasure to meet both of you.”

"Hello, Snowfur and Solun. Welcome to the Lunaris Night Pack. I wish you the best here. My wolves will behave, so long as you hold your promise to be kind. May the Moon guide your night." 

Sibella walks away to sit with a black and white female who lays in front of the middle cave. The cave is dim, but inside you can hear the faint sound of pups as they try to sleep. Sibella sits protectively over the other female, her paws on either side. The female has a caramel pup between her paws, who looks just like Sibella. Luka, the black and white wolf, looks to you and gives a friendly nod, before licking the pup in front of her. 

[ok. so apparently IM doing the first meeting at my pack's home, then one of you can do it next, ig. funnnn]

"I do not mean to sound...naïve, but this is my first meeting. Would either of you mind explaining to me what these are exactly?"

He shuffled awkwardly back and forth on his paws. He looked around the place he was at, entranced by the number of wolves surrounding him.

A male, appearing young but carrying a sense of wisdom, comes trotting over. His pelt is mostly white with gray and black specks and blotches. 

"Hello, there. My name is Snowflake. No need to fear or feel naive. We all know that meeting new wolves can be scary, but I assure you, we are nothing to fear. Unless you get on our bad side."

Snowflake winks, his tongue hanging out slightly. 

"The Mountain Meetings, or as my Pack likes to call them, The Lunar Counsel, is a time for the three Mountain Packs to come and join under a treaty that was founded by the leaders. Your pack - The Mountain Sound Clan - lovely name by the way, comes here every time one of the leaders calls a meeting. Kugeru also comes and joins in on the festivities. It is a lovely time for wolves to meet and talk, discuss hardships in the winter, and share stories about our heritage and backgrounds."

The male looks over to a spot near one of the caves where a young female is sitting. Her coat shimmers in the moonlight. His tail starts to slightly wag, before looking back at Solun. 

"Sometimes we even have a little...fun." 

Another wink comes your way.

The female wolf turns to stare at Snowflake, looking both interested and annoyed. She turns her head away.

"Ah, so your the one who Skye has been.....enamoured with, as of late." Snowfur chuckles slightly. 

Skye huffs in indignance.

Solun wrinkles his nose in response. 

“You all can have as much fun as you want, I’ll keep all my paws to myself. But thank you for explaining that to me. Makes a lot more sense of why I was informed by my scout, Death Pickle, to come visit. I appreciate the invitation.”

A male walks up next to Solun, spirit and freedom in his brown coat.

”Hey, I’m Aer. Nice to meet you. Now, did I hear something about...getting to know one another?”

Snowflake rises, lightly laughing. He prances over to Skye, his tail wagging behind him. He gently nips at her chin,  before wrapping around her with his body. He rubs his side against her back in the process and then steps back around to her front and swishes his tail lightly in her face. He walks towards Aer.

"Of course. My Pack is known for our lively and open ways. I'd be glad to introduce you to some wolves. I'm sure we would get along nicely."

His tongue lolls and he tilts his head slightly. He winks. 

"You need me, I'll be over by Rani. The russet-colored wolf over by the Puppy Den." 

As he leaves, he rubs ever so slightly against Aer, letting his sent rest on the other wolves coat.
