Unpopular opinions (game-specific)

Agreed. I very much enjoy the challenge.

Colors such as Pink, Purple, Blue, Green and the like for bases and markings look awful and I would rather not have them at all. I quite like them on cartoon style wolf characters but realistic/semi-realistic style like wolvden just looks ugly and wrong.

Disagree. :( I love them.

I wish chased wolves didn’t just disappear and you could still see them and could see if someone else found and took them in.

Agree! Seeing someone else befriend a wolf you saw would be cool. :)

I don't think the grind to max out your lead is as bad as some describe it to be. My lead is almost Level 20 and I've had little to no difficulty beating around levels up to a couple less than my lead. I've certainly never lost to an opponent with 10 levels less than me. The battle system gets repetitive and sometimes RNG gets me but it's not excruciating.

Definitely not anywhere near the point where I'd feel like giving up on levelling her.

Agreed, its pretty difficult but also if you take time inbetween levels to get salves or healing explore options etc then it eases up and just takes time more than effort.

I feel like stats are a bit overrated. Other than getting a good enough set to do what you want in hunting/scouring, it feels more important that you like how your wolves look to you and anyone buying them. Maybe not just below 200 or something, but racing to get the highest stat seems trivial

I don’t personally care too much about stats, but I can see why people do. I don’t just go for looks either, sometimes I just get attached based on what the wolf represents to me. So I don’t really agree or disagree because it’s just on an individual basis.

I’m not always so sure what makes a base tier I, II, III. Some are obvious like the really plain looking tier Is and fancy tier IIIs, but for example I don’t know what makes argent a tier III and quartz a tier I. I wouldn’t complain if I got an argent, I’d be pretty happy but other than the tiers I think I visually prefer quartz. It would be an interesting experiment to show the bases to people who don’t play the game and have them guess which tiers they are.

I agree, it would be a great way to see how the expectation vs reality of what tiers people guess, depending on the shade and genetics of everything. It's pretty neat, especially for the Special * bases, I think that would be also nice to add in as well.

I actually really like the new event decorations that have been recently added. The Lunar hues really go well if you got yourself a fantasy looking canine versus a naturalist.

aggree! very pretty, especially for your magical-lookin wolves.

dunno if this is unpopular or not but, okay im gonna say it. i feel like the first quests dont ive you enough information, because i was really stuck the first week of playing. (not too long ago!!!!) either that or i was just..completely lost. now im stuck with the questing nbw as my stud.. but that might just have been me being the idiot i am. anyways, my main point, tala needs to help me more

Agree. I'm still slowly but surely learning and still get stuck when going through her lessons again.

I don't get the hype about lucky feet. They aren't worth all that much imo, and they hardly help (Just used one in a battle with a wolf who was probably 3 or 4 levels higher than my lead and I still died, hardly helped at all. I'd have been better off without it)

Agree, I normally just use them as raffle tickets tbh, I find them pretty easily to come across in explore.

Black/white heterochromia isn't that great. It can look kinda good on a monochrome wolf but usually it ends up looking kinda ugly to me. Also I think blue/brown heterochromia is underrated.

Disagree, I've always loved black/white hetero on green, blue or brown as well as monochrome wolves. I'm not a hugefan of blue/brown though I do like it on the right wolf.

Argent is heavily underrated and possibly the best T3 base.
