(ultima: alpha of all alphas)

*sparrow*"everyone the ultimas are here bow in respect"

the two ultimas go to the middle of the awkward circle *smoke* "tonight is the night of the supper-essence-wolf-moon we shall replenish our power by howling wolves raise your tail tips to the moon you too sparrow and howl with us!" the two ultimas started and sparrow followed their lead.

Loris turned around and continued to craft, rather unbothered by everything. Meanwhile, Curiosity was quickly getting miffed by her sleep being disturbed by howls, she may be able to tolerate just about anything, but not while she was trying to sleep. Why is everyone suddenly here?  All these annoying howls. 

She moved her paws to cover her ears, trying to to back to sleep.

"Yes, but the stories don't stick now that I see you in person." Amyia shook herself off, frowning. "I'm sorry, actually. I didn't mean to be so rude. I was... surprised to see a Volukros eagle. I never figured that they would stay in these areas." Oh goodness, of course she messed up. It was always so awkward interacting with people other than her family.

Liliah frowned, rather taken aback. "Excuse me, what in the world are you doing? And what is an ultima?" She asked, then rubbing her head on her front leg as she tried to block out the loud, annoying howls. It didn't sound at all like her howl, nor any howl she had ever heard!

"What is that abysmal noise?" She gritted her teeth. "And yeah, what even IS an ultima?"

She usually would be polite in asking, but not while she was trying to sleep. Her pack was slaughtered like prey, so she grew to prefer being alone and having no respect for authority despite her energetic and kind nature.

the ultimas stopped and so did sparrow *smoke (in his story teller voice)* "you do not know the story of the ultima, you do not know who brought up this special moon? we are the alphas of all alphas, the king and queen of all wolves I will tell you our story but with the essence that flows threw my very veins..." he weaves essence into a story that plays through their heads, but snowdrop wasn't listening she could sense something, something was off she followed her gut feeling and found something that did not belong a volukrose eagle *snowdrop* "hello I thought I sensed something that didn't belong you are a long way from home young one my name is snowdrop and over there is my ever so energetic mate smoke and a visitor named sparrow what is your name?"

Amyia looked at the wolf, her mouth nearly hanging open of shock. What was she doing, barging into a conversation! Well... not much of a conversation. The Scout snarled at the female wolf, who acted as if the Volukros was her child, and left. Amyia bounded away, slowing to a trot as she neared the stream.

Liliah looked at these strange wolves. "You two are certainly not alpha's of all! Definitely not the king and queen! Get off your high horse and act like what you are. If you three have a pack, so be it, but do not drag unassuming wolves into your lifestyle." Perhaps it'd have been better to go with the pack after all, if these 'high and mighty' wolves were following them around. She felt a little guilty for snapping at them but truly! It's simply rude to assume you rule everything!

"Nobody is alpha of all!" She quickly agreed to Lilah's statement. "I will not bow to false leaders." Curiosity was naive, but not dumb. She wanted to see proof of these 'powerful' wolves and why they should be respected and why the title 'Alpha of All Wolves' belonged to them. Loris was still silent, crafting.

Polaris trotted through the forest. She stopped for a moment, staring at the moon. Lunar Essence trailed behind her, emanating off her body. The markings on her form glowed softly.

*smoke* "we are not on any horse we are the wolves in the tales mothers tell there pups snowdrop is the granddaughter of queen thermafrost the most powerful ultima in history, and of king snowypaw the kindest king in history!" his eyes flickering back and forth between red and violet and his brush tip (tail tip) flickering between black and white.

*snowdrop* "calm yourself smoke remember, again I ask your name young eagle."

Curiosity let out a vile snarl. Something incredibly rare coming from here. "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SO-CALLED 'POWER'! I WILL NOT BOW TO YOU." She said before storming off into the night, a look of anger upon her face. For all she knew, these could have been the wolves that killed her pack. 

Loris looked up, a confused look on their face. "Oh, I guess we're continuing early?" They put the new items into little packs and started packing.

Polaris continued on her journey to find a nice patch of grass. She searched the ground until she found one. She started eating, letting down her guard.

little did curiosity know that not all of her pack was gone and she didn't remember them but they both were part of her pack, snowdrop came back to smoke shielding everyone from his now blood red eyes and started to sing the song of their and curiosity's pack "if the wind is cold~ may your fur be warm~, if you get lost~ may the stars be your guide~, if you loose faith~ may your pack..." (be your instincts~) she trails off to see if curiosity will continue the line of the song.
