The Guardians of the Crystals- Officially Over

The moment the magic touched her and pulled her into the light, Luna panicked, how had she been spotted?!!, and allowed her own power to take hold, her body shifted and morped, changing into the form of a female grey wolf, shying away and snarling at Celeste, though from the now wolves body language, it seemed it was fear driving her as opposed to any form of wish to attack

Celeste quietly examined the wolf. "Ah. You are a Guardian. The Guardian of Shape-Shifting. I knew it!" Celeste turned to Moonlight, who had started barking. "Hush. This is a Guardian. One of the Great Protectors. It has been long since I've seen another." Celeste snapped her fingers, releasing the wolf from her power. "If you try to run away, I will constrain you again," she warned. "Turn back to a human and tell me who you are. Such an exciting day today. Join us for dinner, I insist." 

Moonlight stopped barking, not saying anything after that.

The wolf watched Celeste and Night but turned back to human when Celeste released her, "Luna, my name is Luna" she said walking slowly towards the table, her eyes never leaving Celeste or Night, "I have never seen another guardian before" she added as she settled into a chair

Celeste gestured for Moonlight to sit down and nodded to Luna. "It makes sense. Many Guardians stay hidden. I am separated from other Guardians because I reside in a completely different Realm, one I created myself." Celeste clapped, and the servants surged forward, setting plates filled with food. Celeste sipped on a glass of tea. "Anyway, my Crystal is well kept. Guarded day and night, and once by me. If I feel it is too dangerous-" Celestial twirled her fingers, and a ring appeared in her hand. "-I can keep it myself." She snapped her fingers. "Guards! I took the ring myself. Stay there for the rest of the evening, and you may go to your homes." "Yes, ma'am!" Celeste smiled, slipping the ring on her finger. "And you, Luna? Where have you been residing?"

"Travelling, I never stay in one place for more than a week at any given time, I don't have anyone to help me protect my crystal any more, easier to keep moving when you are alone even if it is hard to keep yourself fed and healthy when travelling like that" Luna said, her eyes looking at the food, almost drooling,

Moonlight stays silent, observing the two- what did they call themselves?- guardians. she didn't know what these 'crystals' were, but they sounded important. and like the obsidians she had found throughout her explorations.

Celeste glanced at Moonlight, who had a confused look on her face. "Guardians are Guardians of the Sacred Crystals," She said kindly. "The Crystals are infused with magic. My crystal has the essence of all magic. Luna's crystal has the essence of shape-shifting. They control all magic in the worlds." Celeste smiled. "The Guardians are born to be Guardians- whether they like it or not. Only the most gifted get chosen. But...I've never seen another Guardian since...a while. Almost like they went extinct."
