The Guardians of the Crystals- Officially Over

Luna nodded and stood up, bowing to Celeste "thank you for your hospitality" she said watching Celeste leave, she grapped a bit more food to eat, licking her fingers and hands clean then turned to Moonlight, "you are welcome to come and talk in my room if you like" she said before she left, taking up a room once it was prepared.

Moonlight shook her head and headed for the exit of the castle, quickly running into the forest once she had left to find a comfortable place to sleep.

Celeste fretted in her room, pacing back and forth. The current talk had made her realize the real danger of keeping a Crystal on hand. She immediately called the Royal Guards. "I will keep the Crystal with me for the time being," She said. "But I want you all to demolish the Chamber of the Crystal and immediately move a small chamber into my room, possibly made out of thick glass. Understood?" All the guards saluted. Celeste narrowed her eyes. "I am trusting you very much right now. Because of this, I will give a generous pay raise of 200 crescents...only if you finish this job." The soldiers saluted once more before marching out of her room. Celeste changed into her nightgown, feeling exhausted. She willed her Crystal to turn into a silver chain necklace, with the crystal pulsing at the end. She slipped into her comfy down bed, and willed the lights to dim. She felt safe under the warm down blankets but...what if she wasn't?

Rave shifted into her human form before walking out into the town outside of the palace, that of which was dimming down for the evening. She moved with a normal grace, acting how she would during any occasion. Her cerulean eyes scanned a row of trading and selling stands as they started to close for the night.

Walking up to one that was fully packed and ready to close, she tapped the counter of the stand, getting the seller's attention. "Hello, Allik. Or should I say, Voluur?" She smirked, gazing into her brother's slightly shocked eyes.

"Can you not call me that in public?" He whispered, waving his hand dismissively to a fellow seller who was eyeing them curiously.

"Why not? I see it as perfectly fine."

"Well, it's not. I'm known as Allik here, and I'd like to keep it that way, Kara." He huffed, but a slight smile tugged at his lips. "It's good to see you again. Where have you been?"

"Travelling, of course, as always. I don't know how you are able to stay in one place for so long, with the same job and the same routine every day. I get bored way too easily.

"I'm very aware, Kara." He chuckled, and he pulled a beautiful silver necklace from his pocket, a twinkling, blue gem hanging at the end. "I made this for you. Well, for the next time I saw you, that is. Which is tonight." His smile grew; he was truly happy to see his sister once more.

She reached for it over the counter, and once it was dropped delicately in her hands, she shared his same smile. "It's beautiful, Allik." She murmured, blue eyes wide. She looked back up at her brother. "Your crafting skills are improving!"

"That is why it is my profession now." He chuckled.

(just a little intro to Rave and her brother Voluur ^^ Also, I was wondering if my second character could be a personal guard of Celeste's? :o)

Celeste lay in bed, the moonlight coming in through the windows. Her hand was clasped around the Crystal on her neck in fear. She hadn't had a panic attack like this since...she first became Queen. She sat up and padded across her room, slipping out onto the veranda. She gripped the cold marble bars, looking out onto the city. 

Rave smiled as her brother walked out of his stand and enveloped her in a hug. "That's great!" She whisper-yelled, hugging him tightly.

"I know!" He chuckled, breaking the embrace to put his hands on her shoulders. "However... since you've been traveling, that means you one, have nowhere to stay, and two, will be leaving soon."

"Actually..." She gave Allik a cheeky grin. "I was planning to stay a bit longer than I usually do. I was planning on finding an inn of some sort to stay at, yeah? A cheap but nice one. You know I'm good at finding those." Kara winked at her brother, and he smiled.

Allik nodded. "That you are, sister. That you are."

Smiling, she glanced over his shoulder and her cerulean eyes widened slightly when they landed on a graceful figure looking out on a veranda from the palace. She immediately ducked her head out of view, basically hiding in front of her brother's body. Throughout all of her travels, Kara had never felt comfortable or particularly safe near royals.

Following his sister's gaze, Allik saw who she'd looked at, and since he knew why she acted as she had, he moved her into a spot behind a larger stand that concealed them from the Queen's view, if she had been looking in their direction in the first place.

"Something must be disturbing her. She's usually not this... active at this time of day." Allik mumbled, more to himself than to his sister.

"I guess I should find that inn quickly," Kara said quietly, biting the corner of her lip. Her heart was racing, and she had no idea why other than bad experiences with royalty, since she'd done nothing wrong to get in trouble with the Queen.

Celeste took a deep breath, shivering slightly in her light nightclothes. The Kingdom was still busy at night, citizens roaming the streets...not in a bad way of course. The citizens of Star Kingdom had a reputation for being kind, gentle, and empathetic. They also had a reputation for being very talented and powerful. However, one small stand caught her eye. A man was there. He looked like one of the citizens of Star. He was closing up his stand, not too uncommon in the Kingdom. A small figure was hiding behind him, maybe another girl. She tilted her head. Star Kingdom was usually peaceful. They didn't get much visitors. Could this be bad omen...?

Moonlight finds a good tree, climbing it and sitting high up in the tree. she smiles as she sees the town's beautiful lights from where she is.

Rave cleared her throat. "Do you think she saw us?"

"Not that I'm aware of. I couldn't tell if she was looking in our direction or not." Allik responded, but nodded. "You should find your inn now. It'd be in your best interest." He gave his sister a slightly saddened smile, not wanting to say farewell so soon.

"I'll visit your stand tomorrow morning, and I can help out if you'd like," Kara said, trying to get him in higher spirits. "Goodnight, brother."

"Goodnight. I'll be seeing you tomorrow." He said and gave her a quick hug.

With that, Kara slipped out from behind the big stand, wishing desperately that she had a hood to put over her head. Sadly, she didn't, and usually didn't, either. She looked around, but her cerulean eyes avoided the big marble castle. Finally, she saw an inn, and from what she could see, it looked promising.

Walking towards it, she glanced back one more time before entering.

Arthur was walking down the hall when he came across the Queen's quarters. Slight worry egging him on, he knocked on her door lightly, clearing his throat. If she was asleep, she wouldn't answer, and he'd continue on with his duties.

But what if she doesn't answer but isn't asleep? He wondered, and the worry grew. Standing tall and straight, he looked down to where her face would be if she opened the door.

Moonlight climbs down the tree and sets up a small camp next to it, laying down to gaze up at the stars.
