Dylan began to feel uncomfortable just standing there " I Uh.. prolly should leave ya and Wish. I.. um gotta go back to work"

he stroked wish once more before  leaving the two to gaze back at him as he walked off " God.. im such an idiot... im taking things way too fast here" he murmured to himself as he went back to the his mare awhile later and finished up picking her hooves before turning her out into the field. 

He walked past Shaw and Wish  once again as he led Jewel out of the barn

Slowly, Ambrose began to nod as Dylan announced he should probably leave. He didn't necessarily disagree there. Maybe space would clear the sudden awkward tension that had just violently descended down on top of them. Ambrose usually didn't have this issue with people, being rather friendly and personable yet with this guy it was just.. all off.

A long sigh escaped him once Dylan had left. Hazel-brown eyes turning up to meet Wishmaker's blue, "He's kinda weird, isn't he?" he murmured just above a whisper as he gave the horse a thoughtful look. "Maybe I'm the weird one..." At that, Wish exhaled a long sigh which drew a rather flat look onto Ambrose's face. "Okay, well you don't need to rub it in.." he sassed with a small grin on his face.

And cue the forth time Dylan walked by, coincidentally at the same moment Ambrose was getting ready to bring the stallion outside to be turned loose with Gaon (Ambrose's other horse). The two stallions got along well enough, Gaon's lazier personality countered Wish's more bipolar tendencies. Wish tended to be a more dominant personality which was something Gaon didn't seem to mind, letting the Trakehner push him around all he wanted. Anyway, Ambrose walked a few strides behind Dylan, keeping his eyes on the floor for the most part.

Dylan finally reached the mare pasture and let Jewel free " ill see you later, Jewel.. And please dont you dare get dirty. I spent hours cleaning you." he then eyed Shaw at the stallions pasture but decided it was best to leave him alone for a while. he felt such an idiot at that point. he walked as fast as he could back into the barn to clean up the stall. He whistled as he worked to get his mind off of Shaw. 

After he finished cleaning up the stall, he shut the stall door and headed out of the barn to head back to his ranch home thirty minutes away. he had a lot of thinking to do.. about Shaw that is and what he could do to make up for his rudeness. " Ill just have to wait till after the competition" he said with a sigh.

 A few days later Dylan headed back to the barn (the day of the competition) and  went to grab jewel from the mare paddock. He  brought her to the stall and began to get her ready "  You can totally do this, Jewel. You trained well, so lets see how you do against Shaw and Wish."
