Only small trail in Desert

Only small trail in Desert
Posted 2020-10-08 01:09:28

Hello!

I moved to desert a few days ago. My hunting party took down large prey in our first biome. But here only small critter trails show up.

All wolf's are at 100% in roles and are 98% in sync.  Why can they only find small critters?

I don't really understand how hunting works, but my best guess is the biome itself affecting what prey is found? I feel larger prey would be scarce in a habitat like the desert. Unless it's all just RNG, I'm not sure ^^;

Desert is too difficult for your wolves, that's why. I would advise moving back to a lower difficulty.

I'm in coniferous forest and I always just get critter and small trails, even with a synergy that is almost 100. I might just move back to starter biomes as the stats are not high enough to handle other difficulties.

What trails you get are based on what is the difficulty of the biome, but also your stats, proficiency and synergy. And I don't think any of us have high enough stats for desert or taiga and beyond.

Ok that might be it. But i got lots of large trail that they took down with ease in the starter biome. And they where not half as good as they are now so..

@Bambilinoo

It's because it was a starter biome, so you could say it is "easy" on the difficulty scale as Riparian, Coniferous and Prairie are medium - but Desert and Taiga are marked difficult.

I think it would be better to go back to starter biome, gain more level and stats and then move to the medium difficulty. I've been in coniferous forest but my hunters haven't found a single large trail yet so I'm just going to go back to starter biome again :''DDD

Yeah, I'm suffering in Taiga with like 30 wolves :')

Despite that I'm gonna be stubborn. No moving my pack, we die like men!
