Jewel was in town when she left the palace. She wanted to get something special for Bella because she knew that she had thought she had done everything to help her get out of the death sentence. But something was missing. " I gotta get her something special.." she glanced around but finding nothing. " Wait a minute... saving her is the best gift I could have given her"

She then headed back with a slight smile on her face and headed in. She didnt know that a relationship between her and Bella would begin. But she did hide the secret of having a crush on Bella. 

Belladonna wasn’t back yet when Jewel came back. She was still out in the forest collecting some beautiful wildflowers and weaving flower crowns. She had left the bed, the only thing she disturbed, neat and tidy. 

Belladonna wouldn’t dare admit it, but she had a crush on Jewel too. But she assumed the Queen had someone occupying her heart, and also that mere commoners such as herself didn’t even have a chance with the queen.

Or did they have a chance? " Of course they have a chance.. they all do.. " she said  preparing a wonderful meal for Bella. One that would show her affection.. but not too great where it would  immediately be obvious. 

" I already had a crush on my bf...but he doesnt matter to me any more..." she said fixing up the great kitchen area.

Belladonna came back, exhausted. She immediately headed towards the guest room, once there she gently set all the flowers down and practically threw herself onto the bed. She rested there for a while, staring at the ceiling in absolute silence.

Eventually she got up and went to go to the kitchen.

Jewel was sitting in the kitchen reading a book, her head barely visible. She hoped that the table that had assortment of food, would please Bella enough to show her that she cared and she  would do anything to keep helping her

" come in Bella" Her voice said as she slowly put the book down on her lap and looked at her guest

She tentatively came in, white flower crown on her head, she grabbed it on the way out of the room. She looked over the delectable assortment of food, only considering the ones made exclusively of plants as she found meat repulsing in many ways. She didn’t care for the animals being slaughtered for their meat, she was just picky. The fat, the tendons, yuck.

She sat down and brought her first choice in front of her, and began eating.

Jewel smiled at her " i only did this because I...I wanted to do something good for someone I cared about .." she bit her lips at what she was trying to say " I didnt know what else to do."

she grabbed her  small items and ate in peace

Belladonna expressed her gratitude before going back to eating. She found something, well she couldn’t exactly put it into words, pleasant about Jewel. Like she could finally let her guard down and relax, something she hadn’t done in a while.

When she finished she politely got up to go put the dishes in the sink. She didn’t fully trust Jewel yet.

Jewel sighed and got her dishes away before walking away in deep thought " If you have any problems, Bella, Im here. I always have two ears for listening. " she looked at her being  getting other chores around the palace done.  what does she see in me  she thought  I am the queen but she would have to ask anything before doing anything 

When she was done she didn't know exactly what to do with herself, so she went back up to the guest room. To do what, she didn't know, staring out the window or up at the ceiling maybe? Getting lost in thoughts?

Before she knew it she was laying down on the bed staring up at the ceiling, her mind wandered to Jewel. What about her was so different? She pressed her face into her hands.
