Scout can't search the glacier, stats aren't high enough?

Hello there, thank you for taking the time to jump in here to help me!

So I have a scout, who is actually my stud!
Here he is in case you'd like to take a look :' )

I understand his stats are too low and that they need to be higher but I'm unsure on how I do that, I've just been making him re-scout areas that I've discovered and I just wanted to know if that was a sufficient idea and if eventually, it'd work because I'm honestly not sure how much his stats have to go up to be eligible to be able to travel to the Glaciar;;

He needs 101 wisdom to scout in glacier, you could train him as a stalker (role stats are wisdom and smarts) for a while or rescout Riparian Woodland (biome stat is wisdom). 

However, you may find it quicker to get a wolf closer to the required stats rather than training his wisdom up. Also, you will want a high strength wolf later for scouting the Rainforest (101 strength).
