Hi there! My wife and I have been wracking our brains for months to try and name our new puppy, and since coming home with her yesterday, we still have not found the right one! I figure some outside minds might be helpful. The thing is, there is a theme and a lot of other factors that go into it that present a challenge! We really love names so the following information might seem kind of extra, lol, but it’s a once-in-a-lifetime decision for this puppy! We have 3 other dogs, 2 are also Dalmatians like her, and the Dalmatians have a theme of nature nouns as names. We have: Lottie Aloe Pigeon so anything that outright rhymes or sounds too similar should be avoided. Preferably no birds or plants to avoid having an “odd man out” but plants are a bit more broad so that’s not a hard rule. Also our cats are Ophelia, Persephone, and Sesame to avoid anything too similar to those! I’m pretty big on 2-syllable names for dogs since they are easiest for dogs to learn and the simplest to call Please no food/dessert names, preferably not something super common, no shade to anyone who likes those names we’ve just got a theme/vibe going She’s liver (brown) spotted and has light green eyes! Her personality is snarky and shy so far! We were told she had blue eyes and we had a couple of names picked out based on that, but now that we have her in-person, they are definitely green! Names that we like but are not “the one” for various reasons: Opal, Ivy, Azure, Flora, Fauna, Sparrow, Banana, Bluejay, Olive, Clover, Hazel, Willow, Barley Thank you to anyone for taking the time to think about trying to help us out! I appreciate the thought! |

Maybe Pebble(s)? Best of luck naming her, we’d love to see a picture if you’re comfy with it! |
