It was later that evening when Spencer was at home, in his little one bedroom apartment close to the forest. He had finished making dinner and sat down to eat. He couldn't help but continually glance at his cellphone. He fought with the urge to text the girl from the coffeehouse - but he was stumped on what to say.

"Hey, this is Spencer. We met at the coffeehouse this morning."

Text sent. Is that okay? He felt embarrassed.

Hi Spencer. Its Kylie here. Yeah I remember ya

Kylie blushed when she saw the text came in " Whats it he wants" she thought to herself  " Is he gonna ask about the walk I told him about awhile back?"

Hey, yeah, so about that walk. How does Saturday sound?

Spencer also blushed - truly, he didn't know how to interact with anyone, especially a woman.

Let me check in with my mum.. 

She went over to hr mom and asked if she could go out with someone that she met at the coffee shop awhile ago

Yeah.. Saturday sounds lovely. I'll meet you at the falls at noon.

She couldn't believe herself. She was going to hang out with a total stranger and possibly get to know him. She just hoped that she wouldn't make a fool of herself and give herself away

She had to ask her mom? Spencer frowned. How old was this girl? He contemplated texting back in fear of her being a minor or something.

Looking forward to it.

He texted back, and just decided to ask her when he saw her next. 

Kylie was only 22 and lived in her mother house in the city. She sighed when she saw his text ' I just hope he likes me mom.. Im just so shy around others.. especially guys" she then told her that she was headed out to go work at the bookstore. She wouln't be back till later that night for dinner. 

She grabbed her car keys and headed out the car before driving off to the bookstore. She reached the store in half an hour and parked her car before  walking in.

He stared at his phone for a moment, seeing if Kylie would respond and continue the conversation. When she didn't, he exhaled and got up from the kitchen table. Leaving everything as it was, he left his apartment and jogged out to the forest only to kick off of his legs and land on four paws.

She finished her shift that morning at the book store and headed to the place where she would meet up with the guy. Kylie was in human form  and was on a rocky outcrop in the forest looking up into the sky wondering if  he would actually show up.. " Hes not gonna show.. I can feel it" she thought out loud " Maybe I should just go back home..."

Spencer was making his way out to the falls in his human form. He wore jeans and a t-shirt hoping it wouldn't be too chilly. As he approached, his advanced hearing heard Kylie and her doubt. It made Spencer even more shy and sheepish than he already was. 

As he came into view he smiled with his hands in his pockets, not sure what to say.
