“Are you sure you want a half elf coming with you, won’t your parents be ticked that you’ve brought me with you. I would hate to be a burden on anybody,” whispered Madison as she looked down at the ground, truth was she liked Luke, he was the first person that was nice to her and not mean like some of the kids in her old high school.

Luke nodded, “they won’t mind you. My father might be a bit ticked, but my mother will greet you with open arms when she finds out your Emma’s daughter,” he told her. “Well.. Your father might be ticked at me too,” he said with a sarcastic laugh. “But everything will be okay,” he told her. “I have a dragon too, that’s who needs to be saved,” he told her. 

“Well then let’s go get your dragon Luke, I hope nothing bad happens to her. Let me leave my mom a note so she knows than I’m gone, last thing for her is to worry about me,” replied Madison as she left a note for her mom. She grabbed a hoodie before locking the door and following Luke,”so where are we going exactly Luke? Sorry I’m asking too many questions, you can tell me to stop at any time,” she said as she looked up at Luke.

(Got another twist to our rp......when Madison meets her father maybe he has a dragon egg and he saved it for when she came? And it only hatches for her and not her dad?)

Luke smiled and nodded, he waited for her to grab her things. He then put his ring back on, so no one saw himself as an elf. He then walked toward the nearest bus stop. “Well we have to take the bus to the mountains,” he told her. He didn’t know how to really explain it. “There’s a part of the mountains that has a solid rock, no one else goes through it but elves. Humans can’t go through, unless they have a ring like us,” he told her as the bus arrived. “My mother can get your ring fitted for you too, if you want,” he told her with a smile. 

“Sure that would be great, but I’m part human so doesn’t that mean I won’t be able to get through. How long will it take for us to get where we’re going, do I look like my mom or dad,” asked Madison as she rubbed her legs. That was a nervous thing she always did when she met new people or uncomfortable in groups of people, she hated being the center of attention,”just so you know I know how to defend myself, I took archery as an after school activity,” smiled Madison as she looked out the window.

Luke smiled as she asked all the questions, he was excited to answer them all. “You can still get through because you have a ring. It should be about 30 minutes till the bus stops, but we won’t get to the mountain for about 30 minutes to an hour. It depends on how fast we’re moving,” he told her. He then thought for a moment. “Well, you have your fathers red hair and green eyes, but you have your mothers facial structures, you also have the build of an elf,” he told her with a smile. He looked out the window and then back at her, “well then, you’ll need yourself a bow,” he replied to her with a smile. “Oh I forgot to mention another thing,” he said with a laugh. “My real name is Haldir,” he told her. 

Madison wrinkled her nose at Haldir,”I like Luke better your other name will take me some time to get used to,” she said as she pulled out her sketchbook to pass the time, Madison finished her drawing and showed it to Luke,”what do you think? I drew you as best as I could, I know it’s not great but at least I tried,” replied Madison as she looked at Luke. She just hoped he liked it and not hated it.

Haldir let out a small laugh, “that’s okay, I understand,” he told her. He then looked at the drawing and smiled. “I like it, it looks very identical to me,” he said amazed. “I think you get your drawing skills from your father,” he said with a smile. He thought that she would want to know everything about her father, so he was prepared to tell her. Soon, the bus ride was over. Haldir got off and then waited for Madison, helping her off the bus. He began walking into the woods, onto a path. 

Madison followed Haldir down a long winding trail, she was going to have fun drawing the woods and wildlife,”it’s so beautiful and peaceful out here. Better than living near a busy city,” she said as they finally came to a clearing with houses everywhere.
