ISO: Biome healing guide and fox question

Ok, so I could've sworn I've seen someone post in the forums somewhere a guide to which biomes were best for HP healing encounters and I've searched and searched and for the life of me I could not find it. Could someone kindly direct me to it or something similar? Also wondering which biomes the red fox shows up in since I keep getting greys.

and regarding foxes, I don't know of any thread that has specific info on where they are most common, but according to this spreadsheet Red foxes can pop up anywhere except for the desert and glacier
