Chased NBW mutation carriers

Hello! I was wondering...

Can a chased NBW be a mutation carrier? I mean, I assume yes, but the thing is, are the chances at being a carrier re-rolled once it is chased? Or does it remain lineage-dependent like in pups? As in, it would make sense that only chased NBW who were descendants of a mutie or a carrier would be carriers as well, but since their lineage gets removed I'm not sure. 

In any case, is it worth checking chased NBW's for mutations? 

Chased NBWs can be carriers, yep. All chased wolves have their mutation status rerolled, so a wolf that was a non-carrier may become a carrier etc. (In addition to that, a mutated wolf has the mutation removed when they're chased.)
