Pairing + Sex Change

If I pair two wolves and then use a sex change after they’re paired, would that mess anything up? Note that I wouldn’t breed them until after the sex change, so breeding wouldn’t interfere with the change.

I want to just set them as a pair now, but I’m wondering if I should wait until I change one to be female so that I don’t have to worry about ending up with a pair bond cool down.

i don’t believe so since you can pair bond two wolves of the same sex
