Grove Wolf Customizer Help

I want to maybe customize either my first melanism pup or a mel or albino carrying wolf. Will the customizer get rid of the mutation or the mutation carry status of the wolves? Thanks for reading!

though, the post above does refer to recessive genes and not expressed genes - still, i assume it goes for both. :)

I've customised most of my melans and my bino through the grove customer, and yep, doesn't change the mutation at all :)
