So.. I have obtained a few different types of feathers from exploring. I found out you can use them for quests, but do they have any other uses? 

I clicked on one of my feathers, the Skua feather, and it brought up a menu to use the item on one of my wolves- 

I am very new to this game, so any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Feathers can be used to raise your wolves' moods, as can a few other items (mollusk shell, turtle shell, a number of others I can't think of). You can also use them to make Nesting Material in the Crafting tab of your hoard, and potentially some other recipes will use them as well~
