Question about wolf adult slots

I know this might sound like a dumb question, but with how this game turned out so far I cannot put this question past it. Do your territory slots reset at all? Once you unlock slots are they permanently unlocked on your account forever or do they get reset either after a certain amount of time or if you retire a lead wolf?

I would really think they're permanent, like on LioDen, as eventually you can buy them with GC and that would suck if they reset and you spent essentially actual money on them.
