You were born into this cruel world, without the ability to choose if you wanted to or not. It happens to all of us, the inability to make our own decision in our first seconds of life.
We just have to ultimately deal with it and do whatever we can with what we're given.
Some of us are born into the luxury of a loving pack, others, the fear of an abusive alpha. Some of us are born as natural loners, others, the anger of an exiled.
We don't get to choose. We never have. Until now.

Welcome to the Devotion & Destruction OOC chat! Make sure to check out the roleplay forum before you start chatting! Some expectations about the roleplay can be found below:

- This is an on-site roleplay!
- Please, no mary-sues or gary-stus. Make this exciting for everyone! No one's wolf can magically suffer no injuries during a fight.
- Do NOT control someone's character in your turns. Let them decide what happens to their own wolf! (To help with this, don't put absolutes in your turns. For example, if you are in a battle, don't say 'he bit them and threw them into the tree trunk'. Instead, try 'he attempted to bite them and further throw them into the tree trunk'. Whether or not the person wants this hit to land depends on them)
- This follows up with the last statement: Do NOT be a dodge-all, no-hit master and expect people to let you get hits on them as well. This makes the roleplay unfun, and people are less inclined to want to interact with your characters.
- Don't hate the roleplayer, hate the character! Most people will give their characters unique personalities, so you can't despise them for what their character is made to think or do.
- You don't have to use wolves in your own pack as characters. You can make their designs in the Wardrobe if you like!
- This is a semi-lit roleplay! No one-liners, please!
- Make sure to have fun and enjoy yourselves! The OOC forum is for OOC talk and roleplay planning only! Thank you!

Glad you guys like it! I'll also be choosing who gets the alpha and beta roles, most likely trustworthy people who can handle those positions properly, so that's just a heads up! I'll probably fill an alpha and beta role, but I don't want all of my characters to be high-ranks. That's why I'll be doing this, and I'll most likely request a roleplay sample if someone's signing up for a role!! :D

Same here! It's great finally finding an on-site canine rp as well. 

Thank you all!! I'm very surprised to see how much interest this has gotten over the span of a few days, and I'm super delighted! Because of this, I might open up the roleplay next week, seeing how my schedule goes!
