Heirloom Wolves

Heirloom Wolves

So on Lioden, I was a 'clean'  breeder for the challenge. However, with Wolvden being so new, clean breeding isn't going to be as much of a challenge here.

Instead, I'm proposing an 'Heirloom' breeding challenge where users don't modify their animals with GC items, instead working to obtain markings naturally.

Anyone is welcome to join, and I'll try and set up a clan once there is the facilities for that.

I'm going to be playing as both a clean breeder and an heirloom breeder. I'm mostly a lore / RP player tbh so I'm sure others will be much quicker than me at getting to interesting wolves, but I'm following with interest ^^

Hi! Neat idea, that how I want to play but I didn't put a name to it. I love breeding with no added markings and no inbreeding! Hoping to keep my line related to my main female as well!

Would love to join!  I’m also going to try not sex changing anything but maybe mutations...

I will try not to put more rmas on the breeding pair, I do want my pack to develop naturally.

I'm new to both sites, I love this idea but really wish I'd put more thought and time into my first wolves, but I made this account on a whim and now I'm not the biggest fan of their looks.

But I like the idea of breeding naturally for more interesting markings.

@Khoshehk may I ask if it still counts as an heirloom if you buy a wolf and their parents had been GC marked, but the wolf itself hasn't? :0 I love this idea but it'd be pretty difficult to only get wolves without GC marked parentage...

@Aurelai that’s a good question. I would leave it up to your discretion! Ideally, once there is a sizable body of people with Heirloom breeding styles, there should be enough fresh blood to keep lines going.

but I understand how hand it is to find wolves that don’t have GC parents.

To everyone else, thanks for your interest! I look forward to playing with you.

@Khoshehk thank you for replying!

I think for now the best option is to allow mates with GC parentage as long as the mate itself is unmarked, at least until heirloom breeding is more widespread. early game problems, lol!

either way, count me in!! I'm trying for clean heirloom breeding and to keep the line related to my lead wolf, Bran. :D he has a son I'm planning to make breeding male once he's old enough, and I've got a few cuties in mind for him~
