We love Faelor

There are some wolves I avoid for the sake of breeding but it's NEVER out if spite for the wolf himself! I have mad respect for Faelor and all other leaderboard studs <3 I have one of his great grandkids too!!

There is a lot of stress involved with being the first at anything in a game like this. First of all I love Faelor (especially because he's not related to my current generation - I won't have to start going around him until the next generation, lol) but I want to acknowledge everything Swiftla went through by taking on the Fox base. Dozens of traditional breeds being sent at all hours of day and night. Having to keep track of all those wolves and get them and their pups back to the right people. Mass breeding at her own expense to test pass rates so that there would be data available for everyone. And then chasing all those fails ....Faelor might have produced thousands of offspring, but the vast majority of them have been chased! And all so there would be enough data to make any analysis really meaningful.

And when I say data for everyone, I do mean everyone. She gets a ton of messages from players she doesn't know and she's always willing to share what information she's gathered. No one sees how much work goes on behind the scenes of a stud like Faelor and, much like grinding to get to Level 20, it's not something you can really grasp in scale and scope until you've done it yourself. Thank you Faelor but more importantly, thank you Swiftla for busting your butt to get the T3s players waited for months for, out into the game and at the sacrifice of your own long-term breeding plan. I know how long and how carefully you planned for Faelor to step into your own breeding program, and how hard you worked to stat him up and prepare him to be an important part of your pack's legacy. And then when Fox base came along you were willing to contribute to the game, to set all of that planning aside and switch gears. Not everyone could have (or would have) done that and it's very much appreciated by the people who watched you take this on without - well, ok, with only mild complaining ;)  Thank you!

As a NIB breeder, I generally avoid the big names for convenience (if I make an exception once, what's going to stop me from doing it again, and again, until I can't breed the wolves I want because they ended up related), but I have MAD respect for the leaderboard wolves on here. The fact that their owners put so much effort into them, and that on top of that, Faelor's owner worked hard for all of the data and to help so many people, gets hella respect from me.
